By that logic, World War II ended in 1990.

Harding's administration did what Woodrow Wilson was unable to do: he formalized a peace with both Austria and Germany. Harding officially brokered peace. He ended the war and the odd truce for the United States. It is one of his finest accomplishments. You can shout out as many silly one-liners as you want but that does not deny what is a fact.

Meh, lean HP.

Harding was actually kind of a good guy.  He pardoned Debs, he spoke out in favor of Civil Rights for blacks and Catholics (in other words, unlike a lot of his party members, he was consistently opposed to discrimination), he encouraged an anti-war policy and ended the abuses of the Wilson years.  However, at the same time he was perhaps the most incompetent man to be president, he was hypocritical about Prohibition, his handling of strikes was abominable, he supported stauncher restrictions on immigration, and his economic policies were horrible for the well being of the country.  SO overall, lean HP.

Neutral.  He grew the economy by cutting taxes, supported civil rights, and worked to advance peace, but also had some nasty scandals (Teapot Dome being the most obvious.)
