Among my first friends were fellow timeline writers Kalwejt, Dallasfan65, and Mechaman. After that, I'm fond of Chairman Sanchez and a few more that may or may not come to mind. I've been chilling a lot on the IRC with the likes of Oakvale, Paul Kemp, Matt from VT, Sawx, Snowguy716, and others. If your name isn't on here but would like it to be, don't feel too sad. Yes. I actually discovered the fourm in May of 2010 while looking up alternate history scenerios such as Ronald Reagan winning the Republican nomination in 1968 or 1976 or Richard Nixon winning the 1960 election.

I am actually somewhat more interested in politics in general now than before I joined the forum. I actually learned quite a lot from the site.

I am not sure actually, probably whoever is on my friends list.

   was lurking here semi-regularly by the time of the 2010 midterms. I started lurking more and

  not going to try to list all of those I admire.

Friends, I dunno.  I've generally kept real life separate from Atlas for better or worse.  Allies?  I'd say that Nix, Nathan, and bedstuy are the posters most likely to share my perspective on more contentious issues (not necessarily the same ones of course ), so let's go with them.  I feel like muon2 probably deserves a mention as well, for his inestimable redistricting work.

Don't know... 2009 was probably the most exciting, since it was the first. 2010 was marred by Kyle Mercado's shenanigans, 2011 saw an invasion of libertarian morons. 2012 was probably my favorite, thanks to the election and the utter humiliation of republicans. 2013 was also pretty good, saw the rise of epic Snowstalker-related memes and IRC awesomeness, though it's also the year I started getting bored and taking some breaks from the forum. 2014 has started off a bit annoyingly, due to the whole Opebo nonsense, and I'll probably take more breaks throughout the year.

Aizen, he was a fantastic troll. Also BBF, who despite being an awful reactionary, had great insights on French politics.

Hashemite is more than a forum friend at this point, I consider him a RL friend. I'm probably also getting there with Nathan. Other than that, there is Franzl, Kalwejt, Zanas and a few others.

Lewis and Gabu, obviously. Also Wixted and StatesRights because they were two of the first forumers I remember and had contact with. In addition to those two I guess Alcon, although still around, I wish he would post more. (EDIT: also Verily)
