Here's what I'm thinking:

As for countries, I don't have a particular interest to move out of the US, but Australia would be nice.

I'd like to winter somewhere warm once I have the money. Florida, Arizona, the Carolinas... it doesn't matter.

Georgia and North Carolina are the homes of colleges I'm considering, and New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Colorado and Texas each have seminaries I'm going to explore after I get my Bachelor's.  Virginia is the state I most want to live in after formal education, followed by North Carolina, Florida, and South Carolina.

I'm pretty happy where I am. Hamburg has always interested me domestically, and although I don't foresee it happening for any particular reason, I could happily live anywhere in Scandinavia (assuming I were making Scandinavian money...)

France is a nice place too. Most of Europe is.
-Well, I find German a really beautiful language (I know, it's strange).
-Germans are extremely friendly, and mostly sympathetic towards French!
-Germany is extremely clean and green, it's beautiful
- I'm extremely pro european and I consider that Germany and France should be closer! To be honest, I would love to see a merge between these two countries. A new "Karolus  Magnus" country would be awesome, and it would accelerate European construction. And Europe integration is by far the most critical issue to me. Between the united states of europe and a welfare state, I would choose the united states of europe.
-And German history is just fascisnating. I love The Weimar Republican for example,...
And some other reasons Smiley.

French is a much nicer language.... Smiley (If only I could pronounce things better.) Not so enthusiastic about a "United States of Europe", personally, but there's a good deal we can and should learn from each other. And you've got Paris. It's dirty, sticky and unfriendly, but it's still Paris...and a leading contender for greatest city in the world Smiley

Hmmm  Paris, a beautiful but awful. Full of "urban elitist". Yes of course, the  "United States of Europe" isn't liked right now but I tend to believe this will happen. And I hope Germany and France will play a major role in this project!

As far as countries go, I'd put Japan at the top (though not for a long term). After that, I'd look to the remaining Anglosphere. Canada (BC), the UK, and New Zealand would be top choices for me.

As for countries, I love Canada, especially British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland.  Norway, Sweden, and New Zealand would also be high on my list.

I'd love to live in Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, New York City, D.C., Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, any city in Colorado, Austin, Atlanta, or any left-leaning part of the upper Midwest.  I'd hate to live in a conservative rural area.

Outside of the U.S., there are too many places to name.  I'd love to see Montreal again or to go to Toronto or Vancouver for the first time.  Quebec city was also amazing, and I'd love to go back.  London would be awesome, so would Paris or frankly any (left-leaning) Italian city.  Going back to Berlin is a dream of mine.  Hamburg and Munich are also places I'd love to see.  I'm going to visit Vienna, Salzburg and Prague this summer, which should be incredible.  There's obviously much more, but this is what most springs to mind.

Did you stop into a church along the way and pretend to pray?

I found Paris more dirty than most first-world cities... but I found it very friendly. Mind you I wasn't there at the peak of summer when it's packed with tourists. I don't think I could live there though... (despite staying there for two months over the last two years)

I'd move back to Sydney, Melbourne in a total pinch, but otherwise nowhere else in Australia except Canberra and Sydney really. Overseas - London, Boston, Chicago...

Perfectly happy where I am, but I think the best place in the world to live would be Denmark.
