On the one hand she is heavily in favor of SSM, on the other hand she despises welfare recipients.

It is funny when someone really is acting stupid and she just lays into them.  It's cringe when she's just being a bitch.

But I've also seen her get genuinely upset before... especially in cases where the defendant has been physically abusive to the plaintiff.

She's a big joke. If you actually had to deal with the kind of people on a daily basis like what she has on there, though, it might turn you into someone like her.

But the show itself is on around the time when Springer and all that trash is on, at least it used to be, so that pretty much tells you who it's aimed at. I never particularly enjoyed other peoples' bad drama, deadbeats' excuses, etc., although I'm in the minority there, for sure.

If I'm to watch trash, I at least like smart trash.

Freedom Judge.

The way she rips into those who are trying to abuse the system for their own gain is magnificent.

I also tend to notice that everytime a woman is losing a case towards a male friend or ex-boyfriend, the woman resorts to "He harassed me" or "He was abusive" and Judge Judy tends to be like, "Well you never mentioned that before..."

Definitely not a show bleeding heart types would enjoy.
