Let's say that the 9/11 attacks happen a few years earlier, in 1997 at the outset of his second term. The events themselves are exactly the same as real life, simply the date is different. How does President Clinton respond to 9/11? How does it differ from Bushs response? Is there still a war in Afghanistan or Iraq? How does an attack on say 9/11/1997 effect the rest of Clinton's Presidency? How does it effect the 2000 election?
