It's the same 47% that voted for him. The irony of it being 47%.

Favorability ratings go up when a person leaves office. No one cares about attacking them anymore, so there's no downward pressure.

Well, it CAN'T be the makers who like him.  They are obviously still furious at his loss; his inability to bring forth the lassiez-faire utopia that could have been the only logical outcome of a Romney administration.

This 47% is undoubtedly the same 47% he talked about, who have finally seen that Obama socialism had emptied their pathetic lives of meaning, realizing that Mitt was right all along.

Obviously.

The reason I love Mitt Romney is the truly incredible amount of awkward humor and irony that follows him everywhere in life

Well considering what year he was born.

Some numbers just follow people everywhere.

How ironic - he was born in 1947!!!

With the good press recently he has received, I would have expected it to be a bit higher.

I don't think that he would have won had he been born in 1952.
