Everything else I kinda expected in some way shape or form, but this part sounds very dodgy to me...

I sincerely hope you're just over-exaggerating there.
Not Over exaggerating. If they won't let my religion live in peace ,then they should either die or get a big ass-whooping.

Oh dear, oh dear.

That's how I roll.

And it's very disturbing...

Eh... he's 14. He'll outgrow his extremism as he matures (hopefully). When I was younger, I (regrettably) held some extreme views as well. I believe I once said we should kill every gay because they added nothing to society. I hate who I was.

I might more left economically ,but not socially. Though gay marrige is my weakest issue.

Social Issues

Abortion: Legalized in the first two trimesters, ban partial-birth abortion
Separation of church and state: Could care less about this issue. If you wanna worship go ahead, if you don't then don't. This is America and we are a free country of choice. Having said that I don't support prayer in public school classrooms. If you wanna do it in a student group then go right ahead.
Gay marriage: Fully support it
Affirmative action: Good intentions, but it's simply reverse racism.
Gun control: Americans have a right to bear arms but there should be background checks and licensing
Death penalty: Support it 100%
Flag burning: I would personally never do it, but it is free speech.
Euthanasia: Very complicated subject but I suppose I'm more of a libertarian on the issue
Prostitution: It's going to happen anyways, why not regulate it and ensure proper health standards.
Immigration: I support legal immigration 100%. Stronger border enforcement and crack down on employers hiring illegal immigrants.

Economic Issues

Taxes: I support a free market but the rich do have to pay their fair share. It's unfair that someone like John Kerry only pays about 12% because of all his deductions.
Trade: I believe free trade grows our economy but we should protect some of our jobs here
Spending: Gov't. should spend only what is absolutely necessary and should work to reduce the debt.
Welfare: I agree with a temporary safety net and welfare-to-work
Education: Support universal education, but I also believe that school choice is important. Support financial aid for college.
Regulations: Don't regulate excessively, but make sure that common sense measures are taken to avoid another collapse.
Health Care: Support health care for all

Foreign Policy

Military Involvement: Maintain a strong military but use it wisely
United Nations: Does not work as we planned, but there is no use pulling out now

Social Issues

General Philosophy: Individual Rights

Abortion: Keep it legal on demand until late term.
Secularism: We shouldn't have 'faith based initiatives' or faculty led prayer. Or blue laws.
Marriage: The government shouldn't be involved in 'marriage.' Of course I support gay marriage regardless.
Affirmative Action: Discriminating for or against minorities is unconstitutional.
Gun rights: It's a constitutional right.
Death Penalty: Support.
Censorship: Abolish the FCC. Also, obscenity laws make no sense.
Flag burning: Is protected speech, barring safety concerns.
Hate crimes: Don't really care to be honest.
Hate speech: Oppose since it's unconstitutional.
Smoking: Should be legal but kept out of bars and restaurants.
Alcohol consumption: Get rid of blue laws and the drinking age.
Euthanasia: Legalize for the terminally ill.
Drugs: Legalize marijuana and most other drugs. Maintain tight regulations on the use and production of methamphetamine.
Gambling: I don't want more casinos in my state. Otherwise, I don't care.
Prostitution: Legalize brothels.
Embryonic Stem Cell Research: Support, especially given recent HIV breakthroughs.
Immigration: No amnesty. Secure the borders by ramping up ICE presence, use of barriers and reforming the identification process.
Civil Liberties: Some balance is needed (and I don't care about Guantanamo to be honest), but the sort of spying we've had under the Bush administration is unacceptable. We could use some reform of the Patriot Act as well but the worst of that bill sunsets this year.
Language: English should be the official language of the US.

Economic Issues

General Philosophy: Free Markets

Taxes: Decrease taxes and move toward a flat tax.
Employers and Employees: No EFCA.
Free trade: Expand trade with Colombia, South Korea, and others.
Spending: Dramatically cut discretionary spending, entitlements, bureaus, subsidies, etc. Basically government should be at least half what it is now.
Social Security: Privatize through use of annuities.
Space Program: Privatize space.
Welfare: Limit to the disabled and recently unemployed. Replace Food Stamps with Food Banks.
Healthcare: Require private insurance and subsidize the very poor and disabled. Reform regulations to allow for more choice and coverage (e.g. buying across state lines; pre-existing conditions). Enact Tort Reform.
Education: Expand charter schools and offer vouchers. Abolish Department of Education and No Child Left Behind.
Minimum Wage: Abolish the minimum wage. Enforce labor contracts.
Regulation: Simplify and enforce. Regulations should focus primarily on public health and prohibiting wild speculation (e.g. naked derivatives).
Infrastructure: Scale down highway system and suburbia. Expand public transportation (e.g. bullet trains) and promote new urbanism.
Energy Policy: Expand use of nuclear energy and domestic drilling. Promote research for renewable resources.

Foreign Issues

General philosophy: Country First

United Nations: Get out of the UN.
Iraq: We've made progress. I don't want us to jeopardize that through arbitrary time tables.
Iran: Ramp up economic sanctions. Give Israel the go ahead to do what they want.
North Korea: Don't give them aid and stop wasting our time with them.
Israel: Has a right to exist. Period.
Military Involvement: Is fine if we're directly threatened or attacked.

Country First must be the dumbest international non-policy ever.

My International policy would be Country last.

I'd say America First but the connotations of that are a bit uglier. Of course I'm going to come off as belligerent regardless so maybe I should have.

I agree that basing one's foreign policy on entirely the socioeconomic benefit of Americans and ignoring everyone else is going to look great to the rest of the world.

Assuming of course that the rest of the world exist and isn't just a fantasy thought up by bleedin' heart liberals.

Didn't we have a president just recently who had a policy like that?

Unfortunately, I'd say that we're really in a no win situation and have been for decades now. If we project power too much we'll be condemned. If we stick to ourselves, we'll be seen as callous. I'd prefer the latter generally, especially given how transparent our 'moral' justifications tend to be. Obviously the man child we had before disagreed.

How about doing neither and be genuinely internationalist. And no that doesn't mean invading countries for no apparent reason.

Bush was after all an American Firster too. Just not an isolationist. Anyway it's hardly in America's best economic interest to be protectionist.

Historically the US appears incapable of doing so. And even if we did, I see nothing positive that the UN contributes outside of some humanitarian projects which we could easily administer ourselves or with others privately if we really cared to do so. Which we don't outside of the usual not very subtle attempts at buying loyalty (or peonage).

I'm not even sure you can give Bush a coherent foreign policy. It all seems to amount to grudges and graft, more so than usual. Of course we're stuck with the consequences now.

Anything positive the UN can contribute? How about Global Co-operation? No matter how corrupt the UN actually is (is it really more corrupt than many governments the US are happy dealing with? Of course not.) it still offers that opportunity under a major institutional umbrella.

Surely it is in the best interests of the United States to actually be liked.

General philosophy: Liberal

Abortion: oppose but should remain legal and constitutionally protected.
Separation of church and state: Most definitely in both directions
Gay Marriage: Should be legalized
Affirmative Action: Can be useful in certain situations, but I generally oppose it today.
Age of Consent: Age of consent should be 16.
Gun rights: Generally supportive, though we should have a waiting period and background checks.
Death Penalty: Strongly oppose
Censorship: Strongly oppose.
Flag burning:  I support your right to burn the flag.  I would only ever do it if I had a very serious grievance with the state as probably the act of protest with the highest symbolism.  It should never be taken lightly or done lightly.
Smoking:  No smoking in public places, though we should allow for smoking rooms in private businesses (if they're separate).
Alcohol consumption: Legal age should be lowered to 16 to purchase wine and beer and 19 to purchase liquor (to keep liquor out of high schools).  Alcohol consumption in the presence of parents should be allowed at any age.  Get rid of public intoxication laws and allow drinking in public.
Euthanasia: Support in cases of terminal illness.
Drugs: Support legalization of marijuana and other "soft" drugs with state regulation as with tobacco and alcohol.  Money raised from the taxes should go to support recovery/rehabilitation programs.
Gambling: I support it, but I recognize the help it has given Native American tribes in lifting many out of abject poverty.
Prostitution: Leave this to the states.  I support regulated prostitution.
Embryonic Stem Cell Research: Strongly support.
Immigration:  We need to make legal immigration much easier.  No quotas, though immigration could be reduced if need be.
Illegal Immigration:  Give them a chance to become legal immigrants through an easier, reformed system.  Those that fail should be sent home.

Economic Issues

General Philosophy: Liberal

Taxes: Keep corporate taxes, but lower the rates.  Cut business taxes for small businesses drastically.  Institute a progressive income tax with the largest chunk of government revenue coming from this source.  Have a highly progressive capital gains tax that taxes excessive capital gains while promoting investment among Americans in general.
Employers and Employees: I support the right for unions to form without intimidation by either side, overseen and those rights guaranteed by the government.  Unions that strike legitimately and legally should be protected from being fired.
Free trade: I support fair trade.  We need to hold our trading partners to the same standards that we hold our own workers.
Spending:  Scrub the budget.  I support pay-go.  Ask each department to find 10% of potential savings and then determine which of that 10% is worth reforming or keeping.  Cut the rest.
Social Security: End benefits for the rich, raise the retirement age to 70 in a graduated fashion and reduce benefits to cover the rest of the deficit.
Space Program: Support.  More money should be spent on exploring and potential human colonization of the moon/Mars.
Welfare:  Full, generous benefits for the disabled and single parents (with dependents in the home, of course).  All abled body workers must either be searching for work or continuing their education (state funded) to receive benefits, which would come in the form of housing assistance, food stamps, utility assistance, and a small cash allowance for personal items.
Healthcare: I support government funded, single payer health insurance for all children under 18 and college students under 25, and everyone over 65.  Healthy adults must find their own insurance.  The destitute and disabled would be covered under the government system while a second government option with subsidized copays and premiums would be available to the poor, based on income.
Education: At the federal level:  No unfunded mandates.  Curriculum guidelines at the federal level should be vague with only general educational goals stated (like math and science standards).  Education equalization funding should be handled at the state level with a reliance on income taxes to fund schools rather than property taxes.  (This was, after all, the Minnesota Miracle in 1971)
Minimum Wage: Have a federal minimum wage, but allow states to adjust it upward for local market differences.
Regulation:  It really depends.
Infrastructure: We need to make major investments in our highways, rails, and utilities.  We should have an efficient, environmentally friendly high speed rail network connecting  the major cities of the country with regional lines down the road.  All railroad tracks should be government owned and maintained with leasing to the private freight rails.  Upgrade the rails for freight to travel up to 79mph and passenger rail up to 200mph.
Energy Policy: Incentives for renewable energy as well as an expansion of nuclear power.  We need to eliminate oil where possible first, then coal.  Find ways to sequester carbon dioxide and store it.
Environment: I support conservation of public lands as well as beaches/shores and other wetlands.  We need better regulation of our grasslands that support more sustainable grazing techniques, as well as more sustainable forestry practices with selective cutting that leaves a tiny footprint and the use of fire to renew our forests.

Foreign Issues

General Philosophy: I don't know.

Democracy and Trade: I support both, but movements towards democracy should be home grown.  We should assist if they ask.
United Nations: The idea of an international body is important in today's world.  It should not hold any legal jurisdiction, however.
Iraq: Strongly opposed to our invasion of Iraq, though if peace and stability can remain in this fledgling democracy, I won't deny the victory there.
Israel: Support two state proposal.  No economic or military aid except for defense in extreme situations.  We were instrumental in putting them there, we should help them out when they really need it.  Palestinians and Jewish Israelis will have to learn to coexist.
Patriot Act: Strongly Oppose
Torture: Strongly Oppose
Military Involvement:  Oppose in most circumstances.
North American Union: A union that sets up free trade and free travel amongst the nations is a good idea.  Also, legislation that affects all parties could be promoted by a stronger union, but ultimately these proposed laws would have to be approved by the legislative bodies of each respective country in order to maintain national sovereignty.

My International policy would be Country last.

Country last would be just as bad, wouldn't it? Unless I misunderstand you, of course.

Social/Cultural Hot-Button issues

Affirmative Action: Strongly oppose affirmative action based on gender, race, and/or ethnic background.  Would support affirmative action on a socio-economic basis, however.

Abortion: I support the overturning of Roe vs. Wade and Planned Parenthood vs. Casey, and returning the issue back to the states where it rightfully belongs.  Accordingly, I favor the nomination of those justices to create the majority required to overturn the 1973 decision.

Stem-Cell Research: Strongly support using federal tax-dollars to fund embryonic stem-cell research, and lifting the ban on letting laboratories create new lines of embryonic stem-cells.

Gay Rights: Favor overturning the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).  Support extending to gay and lesbian couples rights normally restricted to heterosexual married couples, such as hospital visitation, inheritance of estates and other property, among others.  Also support hate crimes legislation, as well as overturning 'Don't Ask; Don't Tell', and allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military, and without harassment for their sexual orientation.

Sex and Prostitution: Favor comprehensive sex education programs, including accurate and up-to-date information regarding safe sex (condoms, contraceptives, etc.), sexually transmitted diseases like HIV-AIDS, as well as abstinence.  Also favor the legalization of brothels.

Second Amendment: The Second Amendment was intended to be seen as protecting an individual right as with all the other original ten amendments that comprised the Bill of Rights when it was added to the Constitution -given this context it makes little sense to interpret it otherwise.  When it was originally written, 'militia' connoted the entirety of the citizenry, not just a government-created body.

Accordingly, I support concealed-carry, 'castle-doctrine' laws, and other liberalizing measures.  Needless to say, I strongly oppose gun-bans at any governmental level, be it municipal, state, or national in scope.  However, as with every other amendment, there are limits that must be recognized, and criminals and those deemed certifiably insane by the medical profession should not have access to firearms, and I support measures (e.g. background checks) to that effect so long as the definitions regarding these groups are narrowly construed.

Drug War: Given the results of the past forty years since the 'war on drugs' was first inaugurated by President Nixon, most dramatically seen in Mexico's increasing likelihood of disintegration as it battles drug lords, I now support ending the 'war on drugs', and instead direct our attention and funding towards prevention and treatment of addicts.

Election Reform: I support replacing the First-Past-The-Post system with proportional representation with regard to Congress and state legislatures. For presidential elections, I favor having each state assign electoral votes to each presidential nominee based on vote totals they win within each congressional district (similar to Maine and Nebraska), with the precondition that such congressional districts are redrawn not by political parties but by judges within the state they are redistricting.

I also favor replacing our current front-loaded primary/caucus schedule with a Rotating Regional Primary System.

llegal Immigration: I would support full amnesty of the 12 million or so illegal aliens in the United States if we focus first on ensuring that our borders would be secured so as to prevent future hordes of Mexicans and other Latin Americans from coming across the border. I also support significant increases in funding for ESL (English-as-a-Second-Language) programs, as well as shifting the emphasis of our immigration policy away from family reunification towards those immigrants who have skills, and are well educated.

Economic issues

Tax Code: Favor a wholesale reform of the tax code geared toward encouraging savings and investment, as well as increasing revenue to pay for the social programs that the American people desire.

Entitlement programs: After long deliberation, I now support President Obama's proposal in reforming the health care system, including a government-supported public health plan.  I support funding his proposal along three main sources: an inflation-adjusted surtax on wealthy households, a tax on health insurance companies, as well as removing congressional authority over Medicare reform & reimbursement rates and shifting that power to an independent panel of medical experts.  To help curb the costs of the program, I also support medical malpractice tort reform so as to cut down on frivolous lawsuits, as well as stripping the health insurance industry of its antitrust exemption.  Ultimately I would like to shift the entire system away from employer-provided health care to one jointly provided and operated solely by the federal government and the private medical insurance industry.

With regard to Social Security, I favor raising the retirement age to seventy, raising the payroll tax as well as eliminating the cap on it, preserve as well as raise the estate tax, and indexing Social Security benefits to inflation as opposed to wages.

Minimum Wage: Support raising it and having it pegged to inflation, provided there are provisions made for small businesses who can less afford the higher costs involved than a multinational corporation.

Labor Unions: Strongly support the passage of the Employee Free Choice Act to strengthen labor unions.

Free Trade: Strongly support free trade and I favor the establishment of the Free Trade Area of the Americas.  To encourage sub-Saharan Africa's economic development, I also favor reducing and eventually eliminating farm subsidies throughout the developed world to make their agricultural produce more competitive in our markets.

Energy Independence and the Environment: To build a more ecologically sustainable society over the long-haul, I favor research into nuclear fusion and hydrogen fuel-cell technologies; increasing investments into alternative renewable energy sources like wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass among others; promoting energy efficiency in government as well as in private industry, using the LEED Green Building Rating System as a model; tax credits for hybrid vehicles; increasing the fuel economy standards for newer vehicles; as well as the expansion of new nuclear power plants, and updating those already in existence (particularly in areas east of the Mississippi, where the only other viable alternatives to power eastern urban metropolises are coal and oil).  The federal government should also increase investments into mass transit programs in urban areas so as to concentrate population growth in those areas.

Am also open to imposing mandatory CO2 emissions limits as well as a carbon tax to combat (anthropocentric) global warming.

NASA -Space Exploration: Strongly support President Bush's initiative to refocus the space agency away from the International Space Station (instead letting private companies and international space agencies fund the ISS upon its completion) and towards the exploration (and hopeful colonization) of the Moon and Mars.  I also support replacing our ageing space shuttle fleet with newer rockets built as part of the Constellation program, and distributing funding accordingly.  I do not support extending the use of our current space shuttles beyond 2010.

Foreign Policy

Support reshaping our military to better handle the twin challenges of counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency, including a major expansion of the Special Forces.  Also support missile defense to guard against rogue regimes threatening our allies, as well as giving the State Department and USAID back the prominence they once had during the Cold War, and reversing the recent trend of turning our embassies and consulates into fortresses instead of beacons of democracy.

Over the longer-term, the United States is not likely to retain its status as the 'sole, remaining superpower' as this century progresses, and our power will decline relative to the continued rise of new great powers like China, India, Brazil, South Africa, and Iran.  It is therefore to our long-term benefit to strengthen international law and institutions to brace the liberal international order that we heralded into existence after the end of the Second World War, and to make more likely that such rising powers assimilate to the existing order rather than create a parallel system that is not so conducive to the spread of free markets, democracy, and liberal norms.

Why? Anarchism and (small-scale, local, and voluntary) communism are imminently compatible: the word "libertarianism" originally applied to people who today are considered syndicalists and Left Communists. I'm personally an anarcho-capitalist with distributivist tendencies, but I have no problem at all with the idea of anarchic communes.

Social Issues

General philosophy: Conservative

Abortion: Personally, vehemently oppose. Leave up to the states.
Separation of church and state: Non-existent. Outside of making sure the congress isn't setting up a state run church it's up to the states.
Marriage: Civil unions, maybe. Otherwise support benefits for homosexuals that are equivalent to married individuals. Leave up to the individual states.
Affirmative Action: Reverse racism is completely contrary to the spirit of the constitution. Eliminate and and level the playing field.
Gun rights: People have the right to own whatever firearm they want. Individuals/municipalities have the right to form militias to defend the US. Eliminate the National Guard.
Death Penalty: Strongly support. Clear out death row. Expand to repeat rapists as well.
Censorship: Not under any circumstance.
Flag burning: Support of course. Non-violent political speech cannot be limited.
Hate crimes: Oppose. No one person should have greater protection under the law than another.
Hate speech: Oppose since it's unconstitutional.
Smoking: Public smoking is annoying, but it should be allowed by any free society anyway.
Alcohol consumption: Same as smoking.
Euthanasia: Oppose.
Drugs: Legalize natural drugs crack down on meth labs and dealers.
Gambling: Completely legalize. Left to states.
Prostitution: Left to states. Support keeping it illegal as it's exploitation of women.
Embryonic Stem Cell Research: Adult stem cells only, which have proven to be more fruitful.
Immigration: We need a new Ellis Island. Support legal immigration, crack down on law violators.
Civil Liberties: To vague of a question.
Language: English should be the only language used in federal/state/local governments and in schools. Assimilation of new immigrants should be the goal.

Economic Issues

General Philosophy: Strongly Capitalist

Taxes: Support the income tax for coporations. Support a national sales tax for private citizens.
Employers and Employees: I believe all states should pass Right to Work laws.
Free trade: Unconditionally support.
Spending: Gut the federal government like a fish.
Social Security: Support making it optional, with the eventual goal of its elimination in favor of money markets, IRAs, bonds and 401ks, all of which are more fruitful.
Space Program: A noble goal for the government and for humanity, generally support.
Welfare: Economic slavery is unacceptable, eliminate.
Healthcare: Not any of the governments business. Most of the problems with healthcare today are due to government intervention.
Education: Local/state level issue. Eliminate the DoE. Education is best left to the communities as they have a vested interest in teaching their students for their particular region.
Minimum Wage: Eliminate, wages are an agreement between the employee and the employer.
Regulation: To vague of an arena. Regulation of what?
Infrastructure: Favor maintaining and adding on to the interstate system and other major roadways.
Energy Policy: Favor coal, oil, & nuclear for the time being. Research viable renewable resources.

Foreign Issues

General Philosophy: Diplomatic

Democracy and Trade: Trade is good. Seek free trade with all other liberal democracies.
United Nations: Eliminate monetary support. Largely sit on the sideline but use it as a tool for good if absolutely necessary.
Iraq: Saddam was a threat who continually violated the rules of the ceasefire, due to the fact that Saddam could not keep the conditions of the ceasefire which was in place he brought himself and his government to its' end.
Iran: Stay vigilant. They can not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon due to their ideology being unstable.
North Korea: Bribe the Chinese into turning their backs, then use special forces to eliminate the upper echelon of the government.
Israel: Demand reparations for the USS Liberty, treat as any other ally.
Military Involvement: As the largest and most important nation on Earth we have a duty to protect smaller countries from being pushed around by bully nations. Keep the thugs in check in order to promote our style of Republic across the globe.

Funny, you are the first "anarcho-capitalist" that associated criticism with the Constitution with "treason". Since the Constitution doesn't support anarcho-capitalism, I am left to assume that you either describe yourself as "treasonous" or are not an anarcho-capitalist. Additionally, you are the first "anarcho-capitalist" who supported tax hikes. Since anarcho-capitalists view taxation as theft, you must not be an anarcho-capitalist.

Is it anarcho-capitalist to believe that the individual has a right to own the means of production, and use them to create his goods for sale at profit? Of course it is. Is it anarcho-capitalist to reject the supply-side mantra that says that not paying down the deficit (hence raising the price on imported goods) is fine, as long as the masses get their incentive to vote for you in the form of a tax rebate? Of course it is. Don't be a twit; your narrow ideological eyeslits have absolutely no bearing on the actual philosophy.

You didn't answer the accusations, but merely gave red herrings and wrapped them up in an ad hominem attack. Anarcho-capitalists don't support taxes, the Constitution, "might makes right", or state ownership of property, yet you are on record for supporting all of these things.

Here you are stating that taxation is okay when the social contract says it is, a position held by no anarcho-capitalists, and stating that state ownership of property is okay:

When that right is granted to the State in its chartering document, then that State can own property.

And here you are stating that I could be bound to a contract that I didn't sign, and then you follow it up with stating that the Constitution is legitimate because 'the people' support it. Neither of those positions is held by anarcho-capitalists:

Hence the concept of popular sovereignty, which you'd know about if you'd actually spent time inside of a classroom.

Quote

The Constitution is legitimate because it derives its support from the people. The people continue to support it; ergo, the Constitution is legitimate.

And surely an anarcho-capitalist would have no problem reading an essay by an anarcho-capitalist, right?:

[
Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

Hahaha, riiiiiight.

One doesn't even have to be an anarcho-capitalist to realize that "victor's justice" is wrong. You haven't made that realization, yet:

Quote

Quite frankly, yes. To the victor goes the spoils.

And here you are defending statist policies in wartime. Again, one doesn't even have to be an anarcho-capitalist to realize this is wrong:

So, statist policies are okay during wartime? That's sounds very neo-connish to me.

Presuming you want to, you know, win a war? Most certainly.

And here you are stating that secession is treason, a view not held by any anarcho-capitalists or true libertarians:

You made the claim that the 1861 C.S.A. secession from the U.S. was treason. If this is the case, explain how the 1776 U.S. secession from Britain wasn't.

The 1776 secession was treason. I don't think anyone ever claimed otherwise.

And here you are defending tax hikes, not even considering the possibility of lowering spending, the view held by even the most moderate of libertarians:

If taxes must be raised to keep the nation out of debt, then raise them as much as necessary.

You an anarcho-capitalist? Haha, that's a good one, Einzige.

It's funny the things you people try to call yourselves these days now that "neocon" is a dirty word.
