John Edwards marked himself again and again as a civil rights fighter, much more so than Obama and Hillary (or John Kerry for that matter). It simply couldn't go more wrong than that assumption.

You misunderstood me.
I didn't say that Edwards were xenophobic. My assumption is that many of his supporters possibly were.
See, Clinton is a human rights activist, too, but nevertheless all Southern racists voted for her in order to "prevent" Obama.
