With Penn's promotion to Director of Strategy for Microsoft, will that preclude him from working for Hillary in a 2016 Presidential run? If so, does that help her, hurt her, or have no effect?

Hillary fired Mark Penn, all reports are that he is no longer party of the "Clintonland" inner circle, why on earth does anyone think she would hire him for 2016?

The same delusional people who think 2016 will be a repeat of the 2008 primaries.

From what I read in Game Change I think Mark Penn gets a bad rap in the public eye. If seems like his plan was coming together and if anything Solis "Princess" Doyle was the weak link.

Bad news for Microsoft.

Why do tech companies insist on hiring celebrities/politicians/Important People for amorphous, sinecure, portfolio-less positions like Head of Strategy or Strategic Adviser or Brand Ambassador when they know nothing about the business, in many cases don't even use the product themselves and contribute nothing substantive beyond their name?

It's like when BlackBerry made Alicia Keys their brand ambassador and paid her God knows how many millions of dollars to tweet about how great BlackBerry is...from her iPhone.
