You have 24 hours to advocate for this, Small L.

I wrote this up thinking that we would be in better budgetary straits. Considering the reality of our situation, I am not keen on the idea at this time.

Wholeheartedly support this... It was one of the things I campaigned on, but in a different form. Anyways the IDS needs this.

The issue of voucher programs has always been one that I take a fairly neutral approach to.  While I don't think the outcomes are necessarily undesirable, I don't think they're the best way to get more students into better schools.  And, as the IDS has already passed sweeping education reform, I do not feel spending more money in this area is necessary at this time.  I will vote against this bill.

We have? Which one(s)?

These reforms were pretty significant.  This thread might be a good opportunity to discuss improvements, though.

Too tired to read them tonight... I'll do it tomorrow morning/afternoon. But thanks anyways!

May we move for a vote?

Our surplus is less than 5% of what would be needed to fund this per the current text. Unless we scale this back significantly (in which case I question its usefulness) or find revenue streams elsewhere, I will veto this should it pass. Funny I should say that when it was my own proposal, but I will not be responsible for creating a deficit when we worked so hard to close the gap mere weeks ago.

If the Emperor has withdrawn support for this bill, I will vote accordingly.

Indeed, I move for a vote.

Sadly, I want to support this, but not now.

I regrettably choose to:
