Politico has literally a 1200 vote difference right now. This is going to come down to the wire.

1,200 votes. 2% left in Jones. Cochran has this.

Whew! 95%, and back out of recount territory. 50.4 to 49.6. 2,400 vote difference.

There aren't recount laws in MS.

I'm starting to think this may go to a recount.

Jones County turnout is now running ahead of the primary (107% with 1 precinct remaining), but McDaniel is doing about 3.5 points worse there than the two-candidate vote percent in the primary.

Even if he won every vote left in DeSoto (a liberal ~2k), it wouldn't be enough.

NY-13

23% in
Espaillat- 46.6%
Rangel- 45.7%

Yeah, Harlem districts are coming in, and Rangel is romping. Walrond is doing okay there (relatively), but Espalliat isn't.

Looks like it'll be a home-turf turnout battle.

Does anyone know the recount rules in MS?  I don't think I've seen them the 20 times they've been posted in this thread.

It's all over. Cochran has survived.

Up in NY, Rangel is back.

Does MS have sore loser laws?  McDaniel seems like the type that would mount a write-in or independent campaign, even though it would ultimately be futile.
