I don't think it's too surprising Perdue won. He had the momentum, Kingston's campaign showed he couldn't close the deal even with every single advantage possible (the primary too showed him as rather weak). I think Perdue is a stronger general election candidate too. However, this primary process probably put Nunn as a possible winner anyway.

99.9% in for Rep. Superintendent, Woods ahead by about 700. Still too close to call with four precincts still to report.

I see Perdue has won the runoff ?

Which means all the polls were wrong (PPP, Landmark, InsiderAdvantage), predicing Kingston+5 or so.

Of course, 10-15% were still undecided.

Now, Perdue seems to have much fewer cash left than Nunn (or Kingston had), but seems to have a better profile for the GE than Kingston (being a businessman and not a Washington insider).

FWIW, Kingston won the counties in his district with 78.7%, up from 72.9% in the primary.

Are we the very last primary states?

Not really. Most of the rest are in August and early September. Specific dates are in my signature.

Blue - Primary already occurred
Red - Primary has yet to occur
Green - Primary has occured but there is still a runoff
Gold - Federal primaries have occurred but statewide primaries haven't
Other/Louisiana - No technical primary to speak of. Jungle primary on election day.

Nice map. What was the purpose of NY splitting their primaries? It seems pointless and a waste of money.

I'm predicting that Roberts will pull this off, but by a somewhat smaller margin by we're expecting - somewhere around 54-44.

After what happened to Cantor and Cochran having to beg democrats to get through his primary, I'm getting worried, but with any luck Roberts should pull this off by 10-15.

45.1% Wolf
  1.5% Others

Good morning! I am just getting ready to head over to Overland Park for the day to campaign for Senator Roberts. Wish me luck - I feel pretty good about Robert's chances, but as we all know, expect the unexpected in GOP primaries. Tongue

My prediction:
Roberts - 52%
Wolf - 42%

Also saying Brownback wins with under 60%, Kobach and Gossage win the downballot races, and Pompeo narrowly pulls it out in the 4th.

Roberts should win by double digits, something like 56-41. Also, Amash should crush his opponent in MI-3.

In Washington, "Mike the Mover" and "Good SpaceGuy" are running for WA-1 and WA-7, respectively. And this lunatic is running for WA-7, of all places.
