My guess is that McConnell gets roughly 65% of the vote in Kentucky. In Georgia, David Perdue beats Karen Handel by 4-5%, followed by Kingston who is a point or two behind Handel.

First votes out from Fulton County have Handel leads Perdue 44-26.
Hopefully ATL metro can shoot her ahead, though I'm pessimistic at this point.

I supported Handel through all of this, but I am not particularly thrilled with how this campaign went - she was very negative, essentially twisting everything David Perdue said to try and make him appear as a RINO.

Handel needs to gain 30k votes or so on Kingston. Looks like she will get at least 1/3 of that from Fulton alone. I don't think the rest is going to be enough to get her into the run-off - I think she falls a few points short.

Disappointing - Handel would have almost certainly won this had the money been there. I am a bit surprised some conservative PACs didn't get involved more, though I imagine it is because they realize Perdue and Kingston aren't that bad and don't want to make more enemies than they have to.

If I had to guess I would say that Handel doesn't endorse. She has defined herself as the outsider (attacking Kingston) and the true conservative (attacking Perdue), so either way she looks hypocritical. I would lean more towards Kingston if she makes one, though.

Wow...

As long as Brat can hold on in the general, which he should be able to, I am perfectly fine with that. Advantageous to the GOP in the long run - having him as Speaker would have been a disaster.

Jones is starting to come in (about 30% more vote to be counted from there) and Cochran is back to a narrow 7,000 vote lead (51.5-48.5) over McDaniel! And there's still more vote to come from a few other McDaniel counties including Lamar and Perry. Come on McDaniel!!!! Cheesy

Why the hell are you cheering for McDaniel??

Adam is a rather tedious partisan who thinks it could lead to a D+1 or at least make the Rs look stupid.

It may, but it would still be bad for Mississippi.
Unfortunately many outsiders don't care about a state's interest when getting involved in primary.

Daily Kos is saying that counties outstanding broke 51-49 for Cochran. I'm pretty sure he has this - what a pleasant surprise!

McDaniel doesn't concede and implies that he's taking it to court.

And McDaniel's accent is obviously fake for those of you without a Southern ear.
Where can I watch this pathetic excuse for a concession speech?

Good morning! I am just getting ready to head over to Overland Park for the day to campaign for Senator Roberts. Wish me luck - I feel pretty good about Robert's chances, but as we all know, expect the unexpected in GOP primaries. Tongue

My prediction:
Roberts - 52%
Wolf - 42%

Also saying Brownback wins with under 60%, Kobach and Gossage win the downballot races, and Pompeo narrowly pulls it out in the 4th.

Busy day!

Pretty pleased with the results - never would have expected KS-01 would be closer than KS-04. Glad Roberts held on...the Tea Party is slowly losing their influence.
