It looked close for a minute, but I think Ellmers is pulling away with it. Not that it was supposed to be competitive, but for a second it looked pretty surprising.

Jones is trailing by 38 votes, but just over 10% is in.

I'm looking at Politico, which seems to have around 22% in, and they have Jones with a 1163 vote and a 6.8% lead.

lol Aiken's internal polling had him up 20 in the primary. Garbage.

Isn't Keith Crisco like 70 years old?

I'm glad Jones won, but I think that after this term, he'll retire. Estabishment guys are pretty ready to off him.

The most competitive race may be NE-2, where Lee Terry holds a narrow 8 point lead over Frei.

And Ricketts holds a very narrow lead over Bruning (30-27). Surprised Bruning didn't just collapse.

Ugh, Sasse. I'm hopeful he's more of a Jeff Flake or Pat Toomey and not another Mike Lee.

Sasse was no different than any established Republican, he just fit in with the right groups for some reason.

If Bevin can hold McConnell under 60, I think it's a victory for him. As of now, I don't think that's the case:

Kentucky - 62 McConnell, 37 Bevin, 1 Others
Georgia - 30 Perdue, 22 Handel, 19 Kingston, 12 Broun, 10 Gingrey, 5 Grayson, 2 Gardner

61 McConnell - 35 Bevin. Just got to this, and it's no surprise.

McConnell is barely under 60. Not that he's going to lose, but would anything below 60 hurt his campaign?

Yeah, everyone called it for McConnell. That's what I am saying. I am saying the distance of the result may not be great for him. He's probably hoping for a complete annihilation, and I don't think he's getting that tonight.

0.5% in for me, 46-25 Kingston v. Perdue. Handel is at 13.

Politico has 5% in and Kingston leads by 2 (31-29) with Handel trailing at 17%. It looks like Gingrey is more likely to get last place than Broun, but we'll see.

I would be surprised if Handel made it to the run-off at this point. The reason? Probably the fact that out of the millions spent in ads, she only spent $17,000. It's no surprise.

Kinky Friedman currently trails by 12 Sad

Politico calls it for Patrick, not a big surprise.

Dan Branch behind by similar margins.

John Walsh should win the Montana primary, but it would be fascinating to see the margin.

I forgot he even still had a primary. Nobody has even bothered to poll it.

Harper had it tied, and PPP had it Walsh +9. Walsh getting the seat probably helped his chances, but it'll be interesting to see how close Bohlinger gets.

I feel like Rounds in South Dakota will probably underwhelm, but will take the nomination with upper 40s or lower 50s.

Boy did i  up in Mississippi. I swear Gene Taylor couldn't win. Color me impressed by his showing, even if he loses.

Bravo Gene Taylor. Bravo.

Cochran and McDaniel could go to a run-off, which would be a nightmare.

I'm a little surprised Annette Bosworth did so poorly, considering some of those tea party groups were getting excited for her.

And boy was I wrong in NJ. Murray Sabrin got last place. He had easily the most organized campaign, guess he just rubbed people the wrong way. Either way, the NJ Senate field was a bunch of perennial losers and a random business guy whose ads were totally weird, so Cory Booker may cross 60.

Mathis and Beason are doing terribly. The last poll showed them within range, and yet it seems that undecideds are moving heavily toward Brooke and Palmer. It would be a relief to see a DeMarco-Palmer run-off.

You're right about that. I also want to know why does Lonegan lose all the time? He lost in 2005 GOP gubernatorial, 2009 GOP gubernatorial, 2013 special Senate election, and now in 2014's House primary. What's wrong?

He runs as a Far Right Republitarian in a state that doesn't take kindly to that. Not hard to guess.

Although it is surprising to see him lose a primary.

Taylor is beating Palazzo by 3. I will eat a bag, this is such a surprise.
