There are certainly grounds for impeachment and removal from office, but of course that's probably the case for every President since 1945.

Not going to happen unless Obama does something that actually merits it, and I can't see that happening.

Seeking political favor by refusing to execute the laws passed by Congress <--- that doesn't qualify for you?

Between ACA and the IRS scandal he has done more than enough to be impeached, but if he is actually impeached, Republicans will be just as much to blame for injudicious use of Congressional power

haha Ok. We must have very different meanings of "high crimes and misdemeanors."

As much as you may not like what he's doing, that's not grounds to kick him out of office.

I didn't say he'd be removed. I'd said there is plenty of material for impeachment, mainly failure to follow the Constitutional Oath he took upon entering office.

I doubt he'd be removed from office because Republicans have no interest in burning up all of their political capital like they did in 1998 to accomplish virtually nothing.

If it happens, I might concern myself with your education. Since impeachment is a waste of Congressional time and energy, I will not waste my own time or energy.

And you'd have us believe that you are actually interested in an idea that is in opposition to your own. We know who's faking. That's why I'm not wasting my time.

First off, stop acting like your time is precious when you're posting on a political map internet forum.

Yes, I'm interested in trying to figure out what crimes have been committed that are grounds for impeachment and how the President of the United States has violated his oath.

If you don't plan on expounding then what was the point of your post?

I'm also curious as to how you know which ideas are "in opposition of [my] own."

ITT a guy who's made 100 posts in his first week on an obscure political cartography forum claims that his time is valuable.

If Obama  were to be impeached this year, then it would certainly be his own fault.  The senate democrats would only impeach Obama if he straight out murdered a child on live television.  If the Republicans take a majority in the senate, then it will be partly because of himself, and partly because of government overreach.

Overuse of executive power and himself. Blaming it on conservative media and outlets is almost certainly bogus.

Republicans. It will be over the executive order thing, and I find it hilarious that they think he's a "dictator" for using the powers that he's entitled to as the President of the United States. If using executive orders makes you a "dictator" then we've had 44 dictators, from George Washington on down.

That said, Republicans are going to cost themselves a lot of votes if they really do vote to impeach Barack Obama. The impeachment of Bill Clinton was on trumped up charges, this is just plain ridiculous.

With the South Dakota GOP passing resolutions to impeach the president, and with Boehner suing Obama, I think that they would go so far to vote on impeachment, but they may suffer in 2016.

Other: For having run a black-ops domestic assassination program which targeted the family members of the neighbours of Republican congressional candidates.
