Any chance Bozo the Clown/Car Thief goes down in 2014? During the shutdown, polls showed he was vulnerable. http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2013/Oct/21/issa-poll-shutdown-moveon/

Issa has turned the House Oversight Committee into a hybrid circus/Kangaroo Kourt, and every single hearing goes like this: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/darrell-issa-elijah-cummings-tense-exchange-hearing-article-1.1711452

Any shot of him going down?

It honestly depends on the candidates that line up to knock him down. If it's someone with visibility, then I could see him being defeated.

If it's some random city council member with no money... then no. He has tons of money to spend.

Issa is one of the richest members of the house if I recall. Perhaps even the richest member. A worthwhile opponent needs to be able to match his campaign spending to have a chance.

Yep, he's the richest.

He could go down in a wave, but now? Hell no. We're stuck with Issa's blatant exploitation until the next 2006/8.

Issa is the biggest douche in Congress, but he's not losing outside of a 2006 wave.

He may be a rich narcissistic douchebag, but that also perfectly sums up the populace of his congressional district.

At the end of the decade, he'll lose, mark my words. His district is one that is getting close to being on borrowed time for Republicans.

He's one of the worst members of congress, not because of what he believes, but because he's such an opportunist and doesn't care about the consequences of his actions, as long as he grows his profile.
