How would the Democrat primary have played out had there not been multiple contenders splitting the anti-Kerry vote? Say, only John Kerry and John Edwards run in the primary. What states does Edwards add from his actual total of 2? Does he win Iowa? Does he sweep the South? Does Kerry still win the nomination?

Kerry still wins in the same way he did. Edwards would probably get Oklahoma, Iowa and Georgia, maybe.

What would be more interesting is Kerry and Dean not running. To see who the Democrats would have come up with.
