I'd expect most of you guys to come up with Xavier Bettel tbh. Eurofederalist liberal, governing with social democrats and greenies, implementing SSM, supporting voting rights for foreigners...

For me, Theresa May.

the Norwegian Right's main economic plan is to splurge their entire Oil Fund on tax cuts and spending increases.

John Key or Angela Merkel. It's too early to say for Theresa May. Hopefully, she'll work her way to the top of my list.

Yeah, but at least they are a major player in international efforts to combat climate change.  They have a plan to be carbon neutral by 2030 and invest a lot of money in reforestation both domestically and abroad.  I don't know much about Norwegian politics, but I assume as prime minister, she supports most of these things.  Also looks like she supports SSM.  I'm sure Norwegian left is probably better, but at least they do a lot of things to offset the oil money.  It's almost like they feel guilty about it and feel like they have to help improve the environment in other ways.  That's more than you'd get from most right wing parties.

Only fringe fundies haven't ceased to oppose SSM after its implementation in Northern and Western European countries. All current right-wing PMs in Northern and Western Europe support SSM in countries where it has been implemented already.

The president of Argentinia Mauricio Macri seems to be a good guy.

Second would be Jean-Claude Junker.

Ah, I knew I forgot someone! I'm a big fan of Macri as well.

Eh, maybe Ellen Sirleaf. Or Jokowi. Too many mediocrities nowadays. Actually Santos is pretty OK, despite failing in the referendum.

Angela Merkel. Although she's botched a few things up here and there, she's had over a decade of productive, sturdy coalitions, and will leave a markedly positive impact on both German politics and European relations as a whole.
