I was perfectly fine with it for a while and even found it interesting but it's just now started to piss me off very badly.

Some grade-A #analysis from AG. Because, as we all know, the party of Mitch McConnell will definitely let Bernie Sanders join them.

A lot depends on what happens between now and November. If he does not edorse Clinton and the Senate majority does not depend on it, I could easily see Dems asking him to leave the caucus. I mean, if Republicans want, they could give him a committee assignment and speaking time out of their share.

I suppose someone can do 2020 then we can start over at 1796.

The next time around, we should have it a lot less convergent.

Pretty funny in context.

Since it's much more fun than to have yourself lose in these scenarios rather than give yourself a very unrealistic win, here's my floors for both"

Between Trump and I, it's a mess. Just a god awful mess. A bigger mess than Jeb Bush's campaign and love life. I don't want to talk about how big of a mess this is.

Donald Trump/ Chris Christie 288 EVs
Samuel Gotham/ Jim Webb 250

The Gotham v. Clinton election is a bit more straightforward. Gotham advances margins in Southern and Appalachian states at the expense of being crushed out West. Hispanics come out heavily for Clinton, while Gotham takes almost 20% of the Black vote.

Hillary Clinton/ Al Franken 349 EVs

Samuel Gotham/ Rick Santorum 189 EVs

This is one issue I agree with Atlas conservatives on. Obviously denying the Holocaust is terrible, but

The answer is obvious.  It's the one where being gay is not an issue, where they don't lock people up for 25 years for simple drug possession, where freedom of speech and freedom of religion are truly understood, where women's reproductive rights can be taken for granted, etc.

Freedom isn't all about lasseiz-faire economics and guns.

Literally every single European country has worse freedom of speech than us.  We don't punish people for having terrible opinions, like Holocaust denial.

Is this sarcasm or do you really think the height of freedom is being able to say "the holocaust never happened"?

Free speech is indeed very important.

I thought climate change wasn't real? Or did it become real now that it can be used as a weapon against the ev0l hippie Luddites?

I had a good chuckle.

This "Utah going for Hillary" silliness must end. It's not funny, it's not clever and, most of all, it doesn't make any sense.

Sometimes I wish we would disable the EVC until November, because deformed maps posted frequently on this board are worse than Victor Frankenstein's creation.

I support getting the government out of marriage period and granting everyone a recognized civil union for tax purposes. So for the sake of preventing fraud and whathaveya, I oppose it. Want to have a bunch of wives/husbands and live together communally for religious reasons or just for giggles? Fine by me. But don't expect a tax credit for each additional spouse.

Given the fact that most of the Dem leadership in WV is more socially conservative and pro-coal than the national party, I'd say Justice gets it.  But I suspect it will be close no matter who wins.  Keep in mind that until very recently, West Virginia was solidly blue at the state level, even when it was trending hard for the GOP in national elections.

I think Justice is more likely to win than Manchin.
Manchin isn't up until 2018.  Either way, I think Manchin is pretty safe as long as he wants to run; he's much more moderate/conservative than the national party and has made a name for himself as a social conservative and defender of the coal industry.

Have Oregon polls closed or they do in an hour? I'm confused.

I believe they just have.

It's all about time zzzoooooones. The American time zone map looks even more hideous than the Democratic primary map.

Lust-Envy-Pride Party
Wrath-Avarice-Gluttony Party

Are you suggesting that both parties are Slothful or that both are Diligent or that both parties seem to be both at all the worst times?

I would assume sloth is non-voters, while diligence applies to both parties.
