I just found out he lives in Louisiana, of all places. He's entertaining, but his rants can get redundant and obnoxious, to say the least. He does a lot of political stuff; he criticizes Obama from the left and on civil liberties-type stuff.

I believe he used to live in California, and briefly lived in Ohio as well. He's fine though. I preferred his style a few+ years back, but he's still entertaining and clearly intelligent. I have one of his books around here somewhere.

Militant atheism = the worst

If you had almost any experience watching him, you would know he really isn't a "militant atheist" (whatever that means, anyway) nor does he even spend all that much time talking about religion itself compared to most of his first years on YouTube. He's even openly admitted he regrets taking the name because it unfairly defines him to people who don't know anything about him, like this.

Because I find it amusing?  I don't have anything against the man.  I even enjoyed some of his videos, not that I started watching any with good expectations.  Last I checked, he abandoned the religion stuff, anyway.

Then again, I've only seen a chunk of his content, so I can't speak on the accusations of him being a misogynist, a pedophile, etc.
