Since it's a safe seat, I won't really care as long as he's replaced by someone more or equally liberal, but it would be a shame. He has been a good representative.

I'd prefer a Jim Cooper challenge.

Cohen is well liked  in his district I remember back in 2010 he was in the community greeting people in Memphis. I saw this on TV.

Likely Cohen.

I'm pulling for him - he's one of the strongest forces in Congress for ending the second Prohibition.

I believe he compared Republicans to Nazis while speaking on the House floor once and then refused to apologize, but that was a few years ago.

No one in a Democratic primary would care about that. I'm pretty sure they're talking about that illegitimate daughter thing.

Cohen has faced black primary challengers before, he will survive this.

The thing with his daughter is awful, but he isn't at fault. In fact seeing someone use it against him would make me more likely to vote for him. The Cyndi Lauper tweet is...whatever. He likes Cyndi Lauper. Aaron Schock probably listens to Cher at the gym.

Hopefully Wilkins will stick to the issues and not engage in any subtle or not-so-subtle jew-baiting like Nikki Tinker and Willie Herenton did.

Isn't Jim Cooper way too conservative for his district?

Can we please stop referring to black people as AA?

It sounds like Cohen's being challenged by someone with a drinking problem.

Black people can say "black." White people can say "black." Everybody can say "black." I guarantee you that choosing between you calling them black and you calling them AA, black people will ask you to refer to them as black.
