After I saw this question, I looked out my dorm window. The tree that's separated by a parking lot and a fence from my building looms large but is too far away for me to tell. I doubt it, though.

Budding doesn't happen here. There are green leaves forever.

It's hard to tell. See, the branches are all covered in snow.

The flowering pear trees in white blossoms do their thing in January in all their glory, and then the Orchid Trees as a lady in pink/magenta in February, and with March comes the Raphiolepis  (Indian Hawthorne) trees and bushes in pink, and the flowering plum trees with their tiny white blossoms trumped by their brilliant purple leaves. The coral trees start in April, with May the silk trees, and then in the summer the acacias in yellow, and the Eucalyptus.  Or something like that.

Yes.  Also, it is 73 degrees outside.  It feels amazing.  Of course, knowing South Carolina, it will be in the 30s again next week.

I wish! It's been a nasty winter in western Pennsylvania, so the trees budding can't come too soon. Unfortunately, it gets progressively later the more northerly you go, so we'll be waiting a while yet.

The thing I hate about Spring in a region like this (Humid Continental) is that Spring often teases you. It warms up, then you get three days of below freezing and / or frigid nights. Then in the day it goes up to 55 Fahrenheit or something. Ugh.

I don't know, but this winter has been so long, cold, and snowy that you'd think you were on one of the poles, so probably not.

However, I have heard a few birds singing outside.

To my surprise, I have noted buds on several trees. That's several weeks earlier than usual, but we also had a very mild winter, and day temperatures around +15° Celsius during this week.

I can vote yes as of today.  I saw the little white flowers on the trees outside our house this morning.  Spring has sprung!

We've already had some finish blooming and the flowers all drop.

Yes, the leaves are just starting to turn but not nearly as spectacularly as in Ohio. My dahlias are in bloom, and it's rained non-stop for the past five days. Yes, autumn is nigh.

They are not. I expect they wont bud this coming week either as below freezing temps will be coming back most nights.
