I am hereby resigning as General Secretary of the Labor Party.

I'll take the position if there is no opposition.

No matter what we say, JCL will always say that Deus won. He just wants the attention, so the best we can do is ignore him...

Wuhuuuuu! Alfred!!!! *open champaign*

Honestly, I hope he keeps the act up for the remainder of the term. We need more characters in the game.

Nice to see that I sort of cast the deciding preference for Alfred. Thank God we don't have the libertarian in the senate.

I'm almost at the point of full regret
Regarding victory and your aid in't,
But only almost. And remember that
Since the election went down to the wire,
A near majority of us could say that they
Did cast the Senator-deciding vote.

I didn't say "completely", friend, just "almost";
I don't intend to quit while I'm ahead
Because your social views appall me so,
E'en though you seem to now regret your vote.

I don't hate Hifly, but his positions probably don't go over so well with a party that - only behind "Labor" and "Liebor" - is often referred to by its members as "Gaybor". Does anyone else remember this?

Adam Griffin, thinking he could recycle classic quotes just because I wasn't there...

What this thread needs is some stern homonormativity.

What this thread needs is some stern heteronormativity.

So... We now have two Labor candidates for Pacific Governor... Shouldn't we hold a short primary now?

Thank you all for your consideration of me! I understand this could go either way, and I will accept your decision. I hope I've done enough in the region, and apologies for the short notice on my candidacy, but I suppose there needs to be some excitement. Wink

I shall abstain, so that it may be known
That, while Flo is a good progressive gent
And generally supportive of our goals,
I do have qualms about his past positions:
Namely, the ones about not being in Labor.
