Well, after dithering, in a way only Charlie can, he has finally got the memo that the Dems are in deep, deep trouble this year. I have rarely seen a cycle where just about everything is going wrong for one side. Yes, I know, it's early, things can change, and the Pubs have still not totally exorcised their sometimes irrisistible impulse to go the kook route.

LOL

Obviously the Democrats are going to lose seats. Maybe they'll lose the Senate, whatever. A narrow Democratic Senate majority with a Republican House and President Obama is not that much different from a narrow Republican Senate majority with a Republican House and President Obama.

Unless PPP is trolling with us, I would be cautious about predicting a Democratic Demise. NC and GA can get out of hand quickly, with these messy primaries.

Yeah. No way in hell a Neo-Confederate wins in NC. Brannon makes Broun look like Nelson Rockefeller.

It is if Ginsburg retires.

I think all but the die-hards will go along with Obama's nominee to replace Ginsburg, because it's hard to push that seat to the left.

The only exception is if he is dumb enough to nominate Harold Koh or Debo Adegbile for the seat.

The real chaos happens if one of the old right-wing judges dies.
