Her loss tonight was beyond pathetic, goes 0-2 against two of the biggest political losers in the US...thoughts?

Out of the state? Nah. She's still pretty top material for the FL Dems - better run her than a DWS or Deutch. I don't see how Jolly is "one of the biggest political losers in the US" either. Now, run her out of the county, back to Thonotosassa, that's something I could see. She'd be a much better candidate against Dennis Ross than against Jolly.

She shouldn't run for another major political office, that's for sure. I love the woman, and she is a wonderful human being, but she's not made for being charismatic, and she lost because she didn't inspire people to turn out for her in the election.

She's a godawful campaigner and lost a very winnable race but Alex Sink is still pretty much the best the Florida Democrats have. I've always personally liked her and since the Democratic party down here doesn't really have many good options she's not going to be run out.

She was so wooden she made Romney sound/look like a movie star.

I hope the FL Dems at least get a new candidate for the general midterm election.

She lost a GOP seat in a midterm election, it wasn't a Democratic one. But she shouldn't run for elected office. We still have chances to pick up 5 or 6 house seats.

Actually Obama carried the 13th in 2012.

Do Democrats have anyone else to run against against Jolly in November? He did just barely win with the miserable special election turnout, so with the higher midterm turnout he could certainly be defeated. Steve Israel has already suggested that Sink run again.

County Commissioner Janet Long, County Commissioner Charlie Justice, St. Pete City Councilwoman Darden Rice, businessman/St. Pete mayoral candidate Scott Wagman, lawyer/FL-13 candidate Jessical Ehrlich, attorney Ben Diamond, fmr. State House Speaker Peter Wallace, and St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman.

Exactly. Sink has lost to two fatally flawed candidates and has proved herself incapable of sealing the deal.
