I'm surprised that Hollywood hasn't made a movie on the late Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley (D), but let's assume they're making a movie on him , detailing his days at UCLA, the LAPD for 21 years and culminating in his political career with elections to the LA City Council and 5 terms as Mayor including his 2 unsuccessful attempts at the California governorship in 1982 and 1986.

Here are list of folks who could portray Bradley:
A.) Samuel L. Jackson
B.) Denzel Washington
C.) Laz Alonso
D.) Laurence Fishburne

Plus, here are list of folks who would portray other folks in the movie:
1.) Paula Patton as Ethel Bradley
2.) Dean Cain as George Deukmejian
3.) Scott Bakula as Pete Wilson
4.) Ruben Santiago Hudson as Willie Brown
5.) Ed Harris as Sam Yorty
6.) Jon Voight as Richard Riordan

Tell me what y'all think and let me know y'all suggestions.

Yeah that would actually be a good movie. But unfortunately biopics are usually pretty expensive to produce if you want them to be good and a movie about Tom Bradley would probably only appeal to Angelenos of a certain age and politicos like us. I don't think an average moviegoer would be jazzed up about seeing a movie based on his life.

As for the actor, I don't know. All the ones you listed don't really capture his essence. I feel like Terrence Howard could maybe pull it off if he gained some weight and applied some aging makeup.
