Reading the posts in this thread has been really pleasant.

Bizarre, extremely misogynistic, and extremely aggressive. Strongly implied that he was also such in real life. Frequently derailed threads. Unfunny and liked to attack others for their humor. (Also repeatedly brought up whatever few personal characteristics about a poster he knew, such as age/gender/occupation, to criticize them, regardless of whatever was being discussed). Outright lied on at least one occasion (when he claimed to be in the medical field, then made statements that betrayed that he was not on account of them making actually zero sense). Had only enemies on the Forum. I'm not in favor of banning generally, but I have to admit that the Forum will be a far, far better place without Link. HP.

EDIT: And he is currently losing 88%-12% in a fairly high-turnout poll. Goes to show.

He was an abrasive dick but I didn't think he should be banned... of course that was before I heard about the stuff he got banned for.

Another thing too was he was very irritable and would get condescending just over asking a question. I once asked why the US seem more prone to marijuana legalization than Europe and he replied with that most European countries don't have as draconian drug laws or a militarized War on Drugs which is a valid point. But he did so in a very condescending tone of "Oh but how dare you suggest that Americans are in any way more progressive on this issue than enlightened Europeans!" and went on a rant about enforcement differences and lack of jail time for most offenses in Europe which is stuff I never dispute or was trying to imply otherwise.

Also he had a habit of never folding but only doubling down. See his posts in the thread about Scott Walker not having a college degree. And if anything he said was proven incorrect he'd just find some way to spin logical fallacies and bad math to keep defending his position instead of just admitting he was wrong ala J. J. Won't miss him at all.

Wasn't Link and Einzege sock?  That's kind of why I liked him sometimes.  Einzige was an ignorant as well, but he was well read and well written, and we got along.

If you believe he is you need to provide evidence otherwise you're just spouting idiotic baseless accusations just like Birthers. I can say then that you're another JSojourner sock with no backing whatsoever on the same grounds for example.
