Welcome back to CNN's 2014 election coverage, I'm Anderson Cooper. We begin our 50-state rundown with the state of Alabama.

All incumbents have been re-elected in the House, and State Rep. Paul De Marco replaces the retiring Spencer Bachus. Both Jeff Sessions and Robert Bentley won re-election as Senator and Governor, respectively.

The only change in Alaska is Senator Mark Begich losing to Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell. Gov. Parnell has been re-elected.

In Arizona, Martha McSally defeated Rep. Ron Barber in District 2, and Adam Kwasman defeated Rep. Ann Kirpatrick in District 1, for two GOP gains. Secretary of State Ken Bennett won election as Governor, for a GOP hold. We'll be back in a bit and the next state is Arkansas.

We resume our coverage with the State of Arkansas. Rep. Tom Cotton defeated Sen. Mark Pryor for a GOP Gain, the second of the night. Ann Clemer replaces Tim Griffin in District 2 and Bruce Westerman replaces Cotton in District 2. Asa Hutchinson has defeated Doug Duval for the Governor's Mansion, for a GOP Gain, the first of the night.

In California, Gov. Jerry Brown has won re-election. The 11th District has been won by St. Senator Mark DeSaulnier, and his colleague, Stephen Knight has won election to replace Buck McKeon in District 25. Joe Baca has won election in District 31, bringing him back to the House, and that's a Dem Gain, the first of the night. Wendy Greuel has won the 33rd District seat, that's a Dem Hold. State Senator Norma Torres is joining the House from the 35th District. State Senator Mimi Walters has won election in the 45th District, making that a GOP Hold.

In Colorado, Sen. Mark Udall and Sen. John Hickenlooper have won re-election. Ken Buck will replace Cory Gardner in the House.

Connecticut's House seats remain Blue, Ambassador Tom Foley defeats Gov. Dan Malloy in the Gubernatorial Race, that's the second GOP Gain.

Nothing new in Delaware, Chris Coons is re-elected, nothing new in the House.

In Florida, Charlie Crist defeats Rick Scott for the Governorship, that's a Dem Gain, the first of the night, for a GOP+1 Net. House seats remain the same.

In Illinois, Dick Durbin wins re-election to the Senate, and Bruce Rauner defeats Pat Quinn for the Governorship. That makes a GOP+2 net.

Nothing new in Indiana, all House members are staying put.

In Iowa, Bruce Baley replaces Tom Harkin in the Senate, and Dave O'Brien replaces him in the House. Terry Branstad is re-elected to another term as Governor.
