You'll have to ask them... also because the flight has no direct connection to them.

No direct interest plus the fact that it's doubtful they have anything they could meaningful have added to either the initial search or to the current expanded search.

As many countries not in the geographic zone of the crash.

But, sure, Chinese news focus on Japan because Chinese government is always attacking the actions of Japan.

Because Japan is confident that other governments have already stepped in?

Also Japan can't offer as much coordinated military assistance... because we (Americans) kinda put the kibosh on that.

They should send their entire navy to the East China Sea to look for this plane.  Even if it takes years, and nothing turns up, they should continue searching for it there.

Because the plane is nowhere near Japan? But of course, your remarks are not surprising in the least, coming from where you are.

They should send its entire navy to the East China Sea to look for this plane.  Even if it takes years, and nothing turns up, they should continue searching for it there.

Furthermore, they should substantially increase the size of their navy to intensify their search as much as possible.

They could use the Senkaku Islands as their base of operations in conducting the search.

How about the Mongolian Navy? They should be a great help with their vast navy.

In other words, be careful what you wish for. Wink

But in all seriousness, the plane disappeared far from Japan, it wasn't travelling to or from Japan, there's no evidence that it ever approached or entered Japanese Airspace or appeared on Japanese radar, and there were no Japanese nationals on board.

Yeah, just an innocent question.  What can be wrong with asking questions?  Statements are worse.  It's not like he just out and said "Japan poses a threat to China!" or "However, I do damn this evil and war-like nation (Japan) which killed tens of thousands of Chinese civilians and so eager to wage a war  again!"

Political disagreements should be put aside at the mement. The UK and France also help to search the plane though it has nothing to do with them.

Plus, the UK and France have overseas territories in the Indian Ocean.

Also, Japan has launched a search for the flight and deployed aircraft and people:

They could use the Senkaku Islands as their base of operations in conducting the search.

One of them looks rather well suited for such from the photo on that page. They could even set up a drilling and refining operation to use the reserves to make the operations self-sufficient energy wise.

Political disagreements should be put aside at the mement. The UK and France also help to search the plane though it has nothing to do with them.

On top of the territories and presence of French passengers already mentioned, there is also the fact that Australia shares a head of state with the UK as well as political agreements under which the presence of such aid would not be surprising.
