There is a myth in American politics saying that looks matter when choosing a president. For some reason, people should vote for a candidate because they will do their job, not the looks. Anyway, which potential GOP contender "looks the part", or looks "presidential". Who does not look the part?
Chris Christie
Jeb Bush
Marco Rubio
Scott Walker
Ted Cruz
Rand Paul
Ben Carson
Allen West
Rick Perry
Paul Ryan
John Thune
Kelly Ayotte
Peter T. King
Bobby Jindal
John Kasich
Mitch Daniels
Mike Huckabee
Rick Santorum
John Thune
Haley Barbour
Tim Pawlenty
Rob Portman
Nikki Haley

Allen West looks like he could be a future president, but his rhetoric means he won't be. Jindal looks like a Muppet. Christie is Taft-esque, which only works when you have a popular incumbent endorsing you. Jeb... Maybe. Rubio looks like he's still in college. Walker looks like he was hit on the head as a child. Cruz is too doughy-looking. Rand Paul looks like someone's professor, but if he had better-fitted suits, I could see him looking "presidential". Carson won't ever get the nomination, so I dunno. Rick Perry looks like a TV president (and not in a good way). Kasich looks too average. Mitch Daniels looks like the King of CEOs. Huckabee has the Christie problem. Santorum looks like someone's creepy uncle. Thune looks incredibly presidential. Not sure on Kelly Ayotte. Barbour looks like Boss Hogg. Pawlenty is the blandest person in the world. Portman looks fairly presidential as well, though more like a VP. Nikki Haley looks like someone's mom, not like a president.

Mike Pence easily, but he doesn't matter. Of the ones that may actually run, Perry looks like the guy who played Bush in W., so probably him, though Santorum minus the sweatervests is a close second.

Those crossed out don't look the part, the rest do.

Edit: And this is solely based on looks, not what their positions are or how crazy they are.

This, exactly this. Also Cruz looks like a used car salesman.

So what we can glean from this is that the ticket should be Thune/Portman based on looks.

Rand Paul does NOT look presidential simply because of that dead animal or whatever it is on top of his brainless head.

John Thune and Paul Ryan have my votes for best looking presidential hopefuls. Christie is a nice looking guy from the face up.

Thune looks very presidential. Ryan, Bush, Pence, and Kasich as well. Sadly, Jindal doesn't look the part. Very intelligent, he looks "nerdy" in this TV age.
