I like the guy. It's hard to judge him as PM since he only had the job for what? 9 months?

His work in foreign affairs though was great. He was calling out South Africa while Reagan and Thatcher were giving lip service to Apartheid.

They didn't support apartheid.  They just didn't want to support the fight against it because they were trying to prevent South Africa from falling to Communism.

They didn't support apartheid.  They just didn't want to support the fight against it because they were trying to prevent South Africa from falling to Communism.
