Rick Santorum is convinced that if he'd gotten the nomination in 2012, he'd have run Barack Obama right out of D.C. as he told Time Magazine. Sarah Palin said on Fox News that if none of the already extreme-right-wing candidates are extreme enough, that she's leaving the door open to a Presidential run in 2016 as well. Combined with the "Draft Ted Cruz" Super PAC, this is shaping up to be one very entertaining race.

With this news, I'm getting more and more excited about watching the 2016 GOP debates. The circus is coming to town in 2016!

Sarah Palin will not run for president.

She's just "leaving it open" for her brand.

Sarah Palin -- the "Lena Lamont" (Singin' in the Rain) of American politics.

"What do you think I am -- dumb or sumthin'?"

Palin looked like a candidate in 2012 until 6 months before the primaries and then faded. I suspect the same thing will happen and she'll endorse the most tea party candidate such as Rand Paul.

Palin is not "planning a run." She's just attention whoring, and trying to communicate that she will back whoever the most conservative candidate is (as if that wasn't clear already).

Spoiler Alert: Palin endorses Ted Cruz after months of taunting the press.

Palin didn't even plan her run for Governor of Alaska for goodness sake... what makes anyone think capable of planning a run for President even if she wanted to?

Palin is probably too lazy to run.

Santorum on the other hand, he did get 2nd place in the last competitive primary, so it is his turn according to the Republican Presidential nominee rule, unless Jeb Bush runs because nepotism trumps that.
