Not many.

Boston, Massachusetts
Some airport in North Carolina when I was a toddler, don't remember which
Chicago, Illinois
Sioux City, Iowa
Orlando, Florida
Fresno, California
San Francisco, California

Might be forgetting a few.

If it was a connecting flight almost certainly Charlotte-Douglas, tho Piedmont Triad and Raleigh-Durham are lesser possibilities.

By my count, I've purposely flown to, from or through 95 airports, flown through and deplaned to stretch my legs on a direct flight on 4 more, landed at, but stayed on the plane for another 4, and visited but did not fly from 5 other airports.  So 95, 99, 103 or 108, depending on how you want to calculate it.

With such an exhaustive list, I could have missed some airports, though.

I count it if I'm on the tarmac or in the terminal, so your high number would be consistent with that. I'm sure we'd love to see your list if you have time to enter it.

I won't list them now but I'm at about 50 with half of them being international. It's a resolution of mine to travel to at least two new foreign countries every year so it should keep increasing by several each year. In a few weeks I'll travel to Russia so I can hit a few more.

Four, maybe five, but I can't remember any of them except Detroit Metro.  The others were in Nashville, San Antonio, St. Louis, and (possibly) Houston.  The Nashville and St. Louis airports are the most I have ever been in either Tennessee or Missouri.

The Frankfurt Airport was one of the nicest I've ever been in.  So modern and clean, and good selections.  Maybe I was just on a high because I was so excited but whatever.  I got so drunk at the airport bar I left my passport behind.  I realized as I was boarding and thank God someone had picked it up for me.

No, but I took advantage of an opportunity to visit Hanscom AFB. There was a rare open house of the MIT research facility there. I only expected to see the main labs, but it turned out the open house included specially refitted aircraft on base for use in research.

That's all well and good, but the real question is which of us will get to 100 first. Smiley

All airports I've been to (surprisingly no Atlanta)

*Passed by/pick-up
Connection only

Origin/Destination

US

Albuquerque
Baltimore
Boston
Charlotte,NC
Charlottesville,VA [home airport]
Chicago/O'Hare*
Dallas/Ft. Worth
Denver

Los Angeles*
Lynchburg, VA [home airport]
Oakland  [home airport]

Salt Lake City
San Francisco [home airport]
San Jose*
St. Louis
Washington/Dulles
Washington/National

Europe

Dublin
Edinburgh
London/Heathrow
Milan
Prague
Rome
Zurich

Total: 30

10 airports alone in the last 4 years for College, amazing how hard it is to find a consistently cheap airline and connection Tongue

Best Overall (so far): Zurich (Even 12 years later, I can still remember it decently...no airport in the U.S. has matched it...not even SF's new terminal)

Best in the U.S.: Charlotte (Simple layout, great food options, and rocking chairs...I'd rather layover here  than arrive or depart in Dulles)

Worst Overall: Los Angeles (Used 3 of the 8 terminals and they were all dirty and with terrible food choices, and absymal staff)

Worst in Europe: London/Heathrow (Still better than most U.S. airports, but nonetheless it's crowded as hell compared to other 6 I've been to and hard to get to.)

Add Knoxville, TN

Total Count: 31

Add Long Beach, CA

Total: 32

Muscat kinda has an 'amusing' side, when u have to take gates to go towards countries like India, u merely go toward a place with two smalls duty free shops, as big as groceries, and then blank random waiting rooms at each gates. When u have to go toward European countries, u cross a loooong place with lots of restaurants café with lots of seats with nice view over planes and quite big and luxury duty free area to reach ur gate. ^^

Mumbai new Terminal 2, for international flights, really particularly is beautifull and pleasant.
