What happens to Iran when its current Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei dies? Is he simply replaced by another hard-liner or perhaps a reformer? Does the Islamic Republic fall due to the power vacuum?

Constitutionally the Assembly of Experts, which is a body of elected Islamic theologians, would pick a successor.  It's doubtful he'd be a reformist.

Here's a question; Could we see a Female Hard-Liner? I'm pretty sure there's no rule that says the Supreme Leader has to be a cleric... Or Male for that matter...

If it survived the death of Khomeini, why wouldn't it survive the death of Khamenei? He's just a faceless bureaucrat anyway.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Could we see one? Yes, there are surely plenty. As Supreme Leader? No.
