All liberal or socialist supporters of the Radical party, I implore you to support the Whigs in this one election.  Realistically, it is unlikely that the party will be able to win this election and Grover Cleveland must be kept out of office at all costs.

Or the Whigs could support the Radicals, who have gotten more support in the last three elections than the Whigs have.

Whilst that may be true, the Radicals are most certainly not the second choice for all Whigs.

Exactly my concern Sad

And side with a party that panders to xenophobes and racists (if I'm reading the part about the Weaver campaign correctly)?  I understand that to people in the Great Ivory Tower that racism against Hibernians, Sicillians, Poles, Czechs, and the great family of the oppressed "low criminal masses" is imaginary, but it isn't so quiet among those of us who hath toiled against the oppression of imperialist and crony capitalists for centuries!  We demand equal rights and privileges for the great poor and huddled masses, even if the Whig nationalistic plutocrats don't!  We demand the end of closed borders and opposition to the elitist plutocracy that Union and Whig politicians have foisted upon this country for ages.  We demand that the working class get equal and fair representation and that unionization be protected as a fundamental right of free speech.  We demand that the military arm of this country be restrained to the mere and moral duty of defending our borders and not be used as a means for empire.  THese are aims that can clearly be accomplished by a dedicated Radical, and not the grand compromising Whig whose ancestral bias against the foreign class immediately makes him suspect.

I cast my vote for Benjamin Butler!  A true hero and representative of the common man of all races, creeds, and sects of humanity!  Better to be the dead radical than the sniveling hypocritical coward!

EDIT: Redid post to fit in with the times, lol.
