What?  Yes, you can edit polls on the forum.  If you've made the poll, then to the right of the poll, there will be several options, including "remove vote", "show pie chart", etc., and one of them will be "edit poll".  Just click on "edit poll", and you can change the poll.

Do you have a thread where you started a poll?  Show me an example, and we'll see if you can see the edit poll option.

Well, that's weird.  I can edit any poll I make, even if it's not on a board that I moderate.

Fantasyland polls cannot be changed and Individual Politics board ones can be.  However, any time you edit a poll on the latter board, the results will automatically become visible regardless of what you set it to.  That's what I've learned, anyway.

EDIT: That's very strange, ElectionsGuy.  I've never had that experience.
