I'll just assume that you're saving the nasty rape retorts for tomorrow, as tradition dictates.

Is this an inside joke I'm missing? Does AG have a rape fetish? I'm not sure I'd be comfortable raping someone as a fetish thing, even for pretend.

I don't see how Nik Wallenda walking the Grand Canyon is relevant here?

And now it's all quiet across all fronts. It's always amazed me how these sorts of things in-game match up so well to financial bubbles. Does anyone remember my old chart? Atlasia is so predictable. Wink

nice!

now back to election tracking (counted after my vote):
penultimate:
Alfred   27
Simfan 25
Deus    21

final:
Simfan 42
Alfred 28

Alfred v Deus is 37 vs. 34, but to get to the final round Deus would need at least 4 more votes anyway.

Yankee [is] the best PPT Atlasia has ever had

That's not remotely true.

Yeah I think I would have to say bgwah and I've worked with both. I like Yankee though and don't mind having him as PPT. It just gets stale having all the same people doing the same thing without giving an alternative a chance.

I think that's a fair point if that's the actual reasoning.

Definitely. For example, we know I was not supportive of Operation Cottonfield but for a time the IDS was a large region that had some competitiveness. Pit and Yankee have stayed in power literally for years (maybe Pit took a short break but came right back if I recall) and they are unlikely to ever be removed through democratic means in that region. They are competent, sure, but I think the low electoral ceiling for anyone else has weakened activity and probably isn't healthy for an elections game. I don't understand how they don't get bored. I can't speak for other senators, but my votes against yankee were nothing to do with any animosity towards him or the federalists, but because the PPT is inherently a political position, and whoever controls can choose to fastrack legislation.

I'm trying to see where I missed a Simfan vote, but I'm realizing Bmotely's vote is invalid.

Because he registered the day before the election, and isn't there a 7 day waiting period?

Well, right now, you have a lead over Deus in the next to final round, and clean Alfred's clock in the last round (59%-41%).

Yes, his vote should not be valid.

Not inherently, though it tends to become so. The difference becomes once people have it whether a usually partisan vote leads to a partisan result if that makes sense. I would point out that I recall putting some of your bills and Tyrions in the PPT and other "discretionary slots" and even putting TNF's imperialism thing in the FP was a recommendation of mine (though didn't quite get that particular slot of course).

Without a doubt, that would be bgwah, because he was far better at being a hardass than I am. My claim to fame is consistency of activity for a long duration of time and fairness. So it comes down to perspective probably and what one values more.

I believe, if Vosem's vote was counted as the last one, the results would look like this:

Penultimate round:
35 Alfred
27 Simfan
26 Deus

Final round:
46 Simfan
36 Alfred

Hypotheticals:
51 Simfan
29 Deus

46 Alfred
38 Deus
