To my knowledge, the ticket of Kucinich and myself are the only ones who unequivocally opposed the War in Iraq, and have from the get-go. The Kucinich/Sanders ticket is the only ticket that supports creating a Department of Peace, is the only ticket that supports a substantive hike in the minimum wage, and the only ticket that supports real healthcare reform. While some are either late to the party, or outright in opposition to these values, I think the best bet for voters is to go with the ticket that has never shaken in their support for these issues.

I absolutely support this. I think that it's important that we recognize same-sex marriages in states that allow for it, and also push for national legalization and recognition of gay marriage. We cannot allow for a system of geographic discrimination - rights are the same whether they be in Birmingham or Boston.

I am proudly a democratic socialist - in layman's terms, creating a more egalitarian society in which everybody has a roof over their head and a blanket over their bed. My vision of democratic socialism is not the imagery that tends to be conjured up by conservatives - that of the old Soviet Union, but rather higher wages, better working conditions, and access to healthcare. I don't think too many Americans are skeptical of that. As Upton Sinclair once said, 'the people will take socialism, but they won't take the label.'

Round XXX: October 8th-15th

Another historic debate between the four vice-presidential candidates. Senator Hutchison, Senator Lincoln, Former Governor Ventura and Congressman Sanders. Much like their Presidential counterparts the Republicans and Democrats largely stuck to attacking each other and remaining on talking points. No gaffes were made and both candidates came across positively in the minds of voters.

Both Governor Ventura and Congressman Sanders were to the outliers in the debate, attacking Senator Lincoln and Hutchison, not necessarily by name, but by pointing the differences between the two party system and it has largely contributed to the problems America is facing. Governor Ventura was seen largely as a winner, as was Congressman Sanders when they both talked about being independents and opposing the Iraq War. Though when most respondents felt Ventura was the strongest of the third party candidates, and many responded positively to his blunt honesty and proven experience.

Both Lincoln and Hutchison's performances were steady and solid, but did not alter the race between Giuliani and Biden. Ventura is seen as largely helping Johnson, who has seen his poll numbers continue to rise.

Public opinion polls largely found the debate a dead-heat between the four candidates, certainly with Lincoln and Hutchison receiving praise for being the first female candidates to appear on a debate state since Geraldine Ferraro, twenty years ago. A lot of pressure is now on the four major candidates as they take to the stage in the final debate on Friday at Washington University.

Who Won the Vice Presidential Debate?
(R) Kay Bailey Hutchison 20%
(D) Blanche Lincoln: 19%
(L) Jesse Ventura: 17%
(G) Bernie Sanders: 14%
Four-Way Tie: 14%
Undecided: 15%

Gallup Tracking Poll: (October 8, 2004)
(R) Rudy Giuliani: 37%
(D) Joe Biden: 37%
(L) Gary Johnson: 13%
(G) Dennis Kucinich: 9%

Final Presidential Debate, Washington University (Town Hall Style)
Moderated by: Charles Gibson

Good evening from the campus of Washington University. I'm Charles Gibson of ABC and welcome to the second and final Presidential Debate between the four major candidates for President of the United States. Vice President Rudy Giuliani, the Republican nominee, Senator Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee, Governor Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Nominee and Congressman Dennis Kucinich the Green Party Nominee.

These debates are sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates.

Tonight's will last 90 minutes, following detailed rules of engagement worked out by representatives of the candidates. I have agreed to enforce their rules on them.

The Gallup organization chose 82 uncommitted voters from the New York area. Their questions will drive the night. My goal is to give the conversation direction and to ensure questions get answered.

The questions are known to me and my team only. Neither the commission, nor the candidates have seen them. I hope to get to as many questions as possible.

Each candidate has as much as two minutes to respond to a common question, and there will be a two-minute follow-up. The audience here in the hall has agreed to be polite and attentive -- no cheering or booing or outbursts of any sort.

We will set aside that agreement just this once to welcome Vice President Rudy Giuliani, Senator Joe Biden, Governor Gary Johnson and Congressman Kucinich.

Question 1: Governor Ventura, if you are elected President you will be the first candidate since George Washington to not be either a Democrat or Republican, how will you be able to make Washington work since you have no connection to either party?

Question 2: Vice President Giuliani, was the war in Iraq a smart decision in hindsight, and would you as President want continue it?

Question 3: Senator Biden, how do you make college affordable given the increased costs of tuition?

Question 4: Congressman Kucinich, is it possible for jobs that have gone overseas to be brought back or are gone the day of made in America?

Question 5: Vice President Giuliani, do you support a continuation of the PATRIOT Act and do you believe it goes far enough?

Question 6: Governor Johnson and Congressman Kucinich: How do either one of you plan to win the election without throwing it into the House of Representatives?

Question 7: Senator Biden, I pay roughly 45% in income taxes, should my taxes go up on go up in order to pay for the programs you are proposing?

Question 8: To all the candidates: Name one thing you like about each other one thing you dislike about each other?

Question 9: To all the candidates: What is the biggest threat facing America today, outside of terrorism?

Closing Statements:

This Round will Close on Friday August 1st at 11:59 PM EST

^I thought about adding Maine's districts, but I didn't want to be greedy. Boy are we all insatiable for polls.

Statement from Biden for America

Congresswoman Barbara Lee has agreed to fill in as Rep. Dennis Kucinich in our final debate prep sessions, and Governor Bill Richardson will play former Gov. Gary Johnson. Gov. Mark Warner is still slated to stand in for VP Rudy Giuliani.

Ad paid for by America Coming Together:

[Phone ringing throughout ad]
"It's 3 am and your children are safe and asleep. But there's a phone ringing in the White House. Something has happened in the middle east. Your vote will decide who answers that call. Whether it's someone who ignored the NYPD and made the World Trade Center a target for terrorist attacks. Whether it's someone who is out partying with the New York celebrity elite, or a President staying on-call throughout the night. Someone who knows the military and has a proven record of diplomacy with the world's leaders. Someone ready to lead in a dangerous world. It's 3 am and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?"

Governor Johnson Debate Answers:

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

I presume you are addressing me, Charlie (chuckle), but I'm sure if Ventura was here on stage he'd be more than happy to answer that question. However, I'll answer it just the same. First off Washington isn't working to begin with, so I'd actually be getting it working again. For one I would mold myself after Washington, picking the best candidates for each cabinet position, not needing to tow a party line. I would also would be more free to work with both sides of the aisle to get legislation that would benefit all of the country, rather than just one party.

Both Democrats and Republicans have good ideas, and with the hopeful addition of some independents this year, a good leader can work with both sides to get things accomplished, no matter the party that holds a majority. Governor Ventura and I both know how to work with a divided congress, we have dealt with it in our own states and we can deal with it at a national level. You can be assured that when you vote for us this November, you will have proven leadership in the White House.

Quote

Well, I'm not sure about Congressman Kucinich, but the plan is to get 270 electoral votes! That's the only way I know how to win without throwing it into the House of Representatives. My campaign is focusing on uniting the nation, we've seen what 200+ years of party politics has done to our great nation. I want to reach out to everyone, the disenfranchised voter, who no longer feels that there is a difference between the two parties. The new voter, or those who haven't voted because they feel like it won't make a difference.

But let me tell you this, your vote makes a difference! It does matter who you vote for! There is no such thing as a wasted vote, as long as you are voting your conscience! You know what will happen if you all "waste" your vote on me? I'll be the next president! We've all grown tired of party politics, and it's our time to show it! Let's unite the country to LIVE FREE!

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

Talk about tough questions! (laugh) Well I certainly like the fact that all of my opponents were willing to come out and debate! I also like the fact that they are willing to put their ideas on the table, that's the first step to figuring out how to fix our problems. I also believe that all these men on stage are of good character.

However policy is where we most definitely stand apart. Congressman Kucinich and I certain agree on many parts of foreign policy, we disagree on our economic planks. Senator Biden is an esteemed statesman, but his domestic policies and economic policies are not what America needs or wants. Vice-President Giuliani and I disagree on domestic and foreign polices, but there are economic polices we do agree on. So all of these men are good men, but I do not believe their policies are what is right for America.

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

Our economic polices are the greatest threat, if America cannot afford to even defend itself, what good is even having a military? Right now we live in a cycle of booms and busts. No doubt that if we continue on this current economic boom in housing, there will be a bust that will hurt the economy. Bubbles can only get so big before they burst, and when that day comes it will not be pretty.

We must stop this boom and bust cycle by drastically reducing the amount of government involvement in the economy. We have to stop the endless corporate welfare, and stop government meddling in the interest rates! All this does is continue this cycle of booms and busts. We have to get government out of the way for our economy to work! What needs to also happen is for our government must get all its ducks in a row by reducing the national debt, and keeping a balanced budget. J did this as governor of New Mexico, and we were the top state for job creation.

A Deadlocked Election?

As Election Day approaches there is a growing possibility, if not probability that on November there maybe no declared winner, with the likelihood of a deadlocked electoral vote, without any candidate receiving the needed 270 electoral votes to become President. There is also growing concern that with the numbers so close in many states across the country, recounts and lawsuits maybe filed, making child's play out of 2000. Representatives from the major party candidates respectively believe their candidate will win the needed electoral votes.

The War in Iraq, as well as the War in Afghanistan and the War on Terror, was a smart decision. Saddam Hussein was a brutal, oppressive dictator who was slaughtering his own people, building up chemical weapons stockpiles, and oppressing people’s right to express their political views. He had to be stopped, and we’ve done that. Saddam Hussein is now sitting in a prison cell, waiting for a trial instead of leading a murderous regime. The War has been a success in that respect.

However, our job is not done in Iraq. Although Hussein has been deposed a democracy has not been established, a stable government has not been established, and there are still pockets of the nation under the control of Ba’athist strongmen. If we were to pull out of Iraq now, the world will be put in danger. Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups will surge in, establish bases of power, and execute larger and more deadly acts of terrorism. Half of our mission in Iraq has been done but we still have a ways to go before I’d consider a withdrawal.

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

The PATRIOT Act is our nation’s best defense against terrorism. It has the ability to ward off both lone wolf terrorists and larger, more organized operations. It is the strongest anti-terrorism piece of the legislation that our nation has and we must support it. Keeping our nation safe should be the primary goal of every man on this stage, and every citizen at home. We’ve all seen the effects that terrorism has on our nation, whether it be home-grown or foreign-born. Does the PATRIOT Act go far enough? I’d say so.

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

I don’t mean any disrespect here but Charlie - this is a silly question. All of the men on this stage have their good qualities and their more negative ones. My opinion on them isn’t what’s important. We’ve all worked quite hard to get where we are tonight, and we all deserve recognition for this. But my campaign is based on policy and ideas. I’m not going to sit here and point out what I like and dislike about the other candidates. Let’s talk about healthcare, Iraq, the economy, or the serious issues of the campaign. This kind of question belongs at a college orientation, not on the stage of a presidential debate.

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

I think I have to agree with Governor Johnson here. Our economic policy is clearly our nation’s third largest threat, after both domestic and foreign terrorism. We have to reign in our government’s tax-and-spend policy, trim down the size of government, and make our government more efficient. If we don’t do this, our generation will set up our children and grandchildren for failure by pushing our debt and expenses off onto them. As President, I will launch a review of every program that our taxpayers money goes towards. If the program is necessary and working at its most efficient, that’s fine. If it’s not necessary or working at its most efficient, we’ve got to either find a way to reform it to make it the most efficient, or we’ve got to consider cutting the program. While in office, I will also set our nation up for a balanced budget by 2016. A balanced budget is not something that can be rushed, but it must be done. Almost every state has a BBA and it only makes sense that our federal government should have one too.

Quote

Thank you, Charles, for moderating this debate tonight. I’d like to thank the CPD for putting on this debate, Washington University for hosting this debate, and all of the men and women in the audience for attending this debate, as well as the many of Americans at home watching on the TV. I’d also like to extend my thanks to Senator Biden, Governor Johnson, and Congressman Kucinich for participating in this debate and presenting our ideas for the future of our nation to the American people.

Over the last 90 minutes, four very different and distinct visions of America have been presented. But only one vision, presented tonight, will keep America on top as the greatest nation on Earth. We’ve got to trim back our budget, stop raising taxes, and make our government more efficient. We’ve got to stay the course in Iraq and Afghanistan and finish our mission in those two nations. If we pull out of either of them now, the world at-large will be put in a much more dangerous and precarious place. We've got to reign in the cost of higher education so that every child in America, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, or background can get a college degree and become an active participant in the workforce. This is the America that Thomas Jefferson envisioned, that Abraham Lincoln envisioned, that Ronald Reagan envisioned, and it’s the America that I will create. Thank you, God Bless you, and God Bless the United States of America.

Biden Debate Responses

Question 3: Senator Biden, how do you make college affordable given the increased costs of tuition?

That is an excellent question, thank you. And while we are on the subject of education, I want to thank Washington University for hosting this debate, and especially Paula Davis, President of Washington University's Student Government Association, who - along with the entire Student Senate - just like student leaders at University of Miami and Case Western Reserve University were instrumental in preparing for these debates.

We have spoken before in this campaign of what I call the 'golden rule.' We will require colleges to implement the golden rule that says 80% of tuition must go to a student's education. The rise of tuition has also seen a rise of administrative costs at universities. Too many have begun to look and operate more like businesses than educational institutions, and I will seek every opportunity to put a stop to it.

We can also do more to help students afford their education. My administration will encourage states to require public universities to offer a fixed-rate tuition plan, and cap the additional amount people have to pay that first year at 15%. And we can reform the corrupt student loan system, something that none of my opponents have supported or even bothered to comment on in this campaign. I promise to take big banks out of the student loan process, ensuring fair interest rates not provided in today's student loan market. And we can make sure college graduates have a fair shot in starting their careers; requiring that monthly payments cannot begin until six months after students graduate, and letting people set their repayment level based on their income.

No. I've supported the current tax cuts as they stand for those in the middle and working class, where they do the most good for an economy that we all can benefit and prosper from. Letting the cuts expire for the truly wealthy will be the focus. In the first debate, I mentioned a threshold of $400,000 a year. My administration will propose this to Congress and let them do what they do best: represent hardworking Americans. Having a proven record of leadership and deal-making in the Senate, I am fully confident my administration will find common ground with Congress, to ensure that we do not contribute to Bush's budget deficit, and that hardworking Americans like you are not put on the charge card.

(stepping forward)

All of you, I want you to know that I feel your pain. I was the first person in this campaign to talk about raising the minimum wage. I entered that bill into the U.S. Senate and as President I will sign it. I know what it takes to keep our economy strong and keep the creation of good-paying jobs here at home, not overseas. You know, sometimes, the pundits that slice and dice American politics call these issues "pocketbook issues." But that's too small. These are important issues, that effect every one of us here in America and if the wrong person is elected President that opportunity will slip away from the people who need it most. My policies and the principles I stand for as President will call for an economic patriotism rooted in the belief that growing our economy begins with a strong and thriving middle class."

I like all of the people on this stage, and I really do believe that they want to help America. However just as I like them for the same reason, the same reason applies in the other respect: They just aren't standing for the everyman in America. They're not proposing much of anything, but what they are proposing won't work and it will not grow our economy. Their policies don't stick up for the middle class and now more than ever we need a President who will.

I think without a doubt that it is disengagement with the political system. There are actually a sizable amount of Americans who do not intend to vote in November, because they do not even think it matters. And it's no wonder: when people on both extremes are shouting the loudest, it's hard to believe in our elected officials. But I've cut my teeth in the Senate by getting things done for the people of my home state, and passing important legislation such as the Biden Crime Law, and the Violence Against Women Act which passed with overwhelming bipartisan support. That same record will be invaluable as President, where I can show Americans what a smart, functional, and productive government looks like: one that helps where it can and doesn't get in the way where it cannot.

But when people see men like Vice President Giuliani, whose corrupt political appointees stole hundreds of thousands of money from the taxpayers of New York City, when people see powerful insiders like him continue to climb the ladder while everyday people get pushed aside, it's easy to lose faith. When people see extreme corporate interest and narrow special interests swaying the vote of their elected officials easier than an honest letter from a constituent, it's easy to lose faith. But let me tell you what I think. I think that by losing faith and refusing to vote we allow those insiders to get ahead. So we should vote, and vote for a President that sticks up for every American, not the powerful few but the many working hard to get ahead.

TV/Radio Ad: Pocketbook

JOE BIDEN: They call it a pocketbook issue.

ONSCREEN TEXT: "Raise the minimum wage"

JOE BIDEN: But it's important to me.

ONSCREEN TEXT: "Affordable healthcare. Affordable peace of mind."

JOE BIDEN: That's why I'm running for President. I know the struggles you face, and I've been a fighter for people who don't normally have a voice in Washington. I'm going to make sure that the workplace is a level playing field for everyone, and that hard work is met with a fair wage. Nothing is more important for our economy than putting more money in the pockets of consumers, through rewarding innovation, higher wages, and support for the single mom and the stay-at-home mom.

In the Senate, I championed campaign finance reform, equal and fair pay, and challenged the big corporations that finance my opponent. I won't stand by and let Wall Street bankrupt Main Street. I'm Joe Biden, and together, we can get this job done.

TV Ad: Pay-For-Play

FEMALE VOICE OVER: Now more than ever, Americans need someone who's looking out for their voice in Washington.

Giuliani's cronies as mayor accepted perks including a taxpayer-funded taxi service. Just this month, one of his appointees as Mayor plead guilty to lying under oath and receiving a vehicle purchased with $38,000 of New York's taxpayer money.

It's the the tip of the iceberg.

Giuliani appointed his best friend's son, Russell Harding, to the Housing Development Corp. He was indicted in March 2003 for defrauding the city of hundreds of thousands of dollars. And according to Harding's correspondence: this was par for the pay-for-play course:

IMAGE: [Clip of Harding's correspondence released in 2002]: "My dad is always helping the mayor with projects for money making ... And the mayor is always helping my dad as well ... he had my dad go over some contracts a while back about a company taking over the airports here ... so not only in the long run will the mayor profit from it ... but my dad already has with doing the contract ... they both have a watch each other's back thing going."

Highlighted text, read aloud by male voice over: THE MAYOR IS ALWAYS HELPING MY DAD
NOT ONLY IN THE LONG RUN WILL THE MAYOR PROFIT
MY DAD ALREADY HAS
THEY BOTH HAVE A WATCH EACH OTHER'S BACK THING

IMAGE: [Clip of Harding's correspondence released in 2002]: "Trust me ... it makes perfect sense for the line of work my dad is in ... as well as with my job ... we all help the mayor and he helps us."

Highlighted text, read aloud by male voice over: WE ALL HELP THE MAYOR AND HE HELPS US Paid for by the ACLU & League of Integrity Voters

Dennis Kucinich Debate Answers

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

It's possible to go back to the days when our economy at home was more vibrant and secure, but we can't do that under our current policies, continued by both Democratic and Republican presidents. Our problem is that our trade policies have clearly not benefited American workers--instead, China, Mexico, and other countries have become the biggest beneficiaries. By promoting cheap labor for the sake of lower prices, we've absolutely trashed our economic bedrock: the jobs right here at home. That's unacceptable to me.

The president has to put their foot down and make a statement that fair trade is the way to go. This means that as president, I'll quickly withdraw from deals like NAFTA and the WTO that ship well-paying jobs to developing nations and leave regular Americans worse off in the long run. Future trade agreements will only get my approval if they set clear workers' rights in order to ensure that our jobs are safe. In addition, we should be looking at options like increasing tariffs on certain goods to encourage American-made products to be sold instead. Finally, a comprehensive national jobs program like what FDR did with the New Deal to put people back to work will stimulate domestic production and boost employment.

It's true, "made in America" is in decline right now. But the solutions that I see from my opponents only encourage free trade and only encourage decimating American jobs, and I'm here to offer a different path. It's time that we had a president with enough guts to stand up for America first.

As Governor Johnson said, you avoid throwing it to the House by winning 270 electoral votes, and that's what I'm aiming for. I may be running to promote ideas that haven't been given the spotlight before, but I'm running just as much to actually win and to carry out my proposals as president. I've been doing as much work as I can each day, traveling across the country, speaking to regular Americans about the most important issues, and laying out my vision for the future. I'm also candidly speaking to you right now at this debate and separating myself from my opponents on the stage by pointing out our differences.

You know, I may be a third-party candidate who apparently has no chance of winning if you listen to the talking heads on the news, but I've been underestimated plenty of times before. When I was running as a Democrat, everybody wrote me off when I first announced my campaign. No one would have expected me to come in a strong third in both Iowa and New Hampshire, not to mention even win a couple of primaries outright. The polls didn't always capture just how much of a large and enthusiastic following I've had, and I'm led to believe that the polls may not be getting the full picture in this general election. Really, Election Day is the only poll that matters, and let it be known that millions of Americans won't be considering a third-party vote "wasted" anymore.

I can say with complete sincerity that I believe all three of the men by my side tonight are good people. For their own reasons, they've gone to public service to try and better others' lives, and I can't criticize them for that alone. However, I don't have enough confidence in their views and vision for this country to wholeheartedly support them. If I did, I wouldn't be running right now. What America doesn't need is a leader who would gladly bomb the rest of the Middle East, or gut our safety net, or kowtow to big special interests. I see those things in my opponents, and I say before you tonight that we can do better.

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

This issue isn't brought up all the time by politicians like the economy or terrorism is, but our environment is key to America's safety and stability. The simple truth is that if we don't take care of what nature has provided us, we will all be worse off for it very soon. In recent years, the government has taken the regulatory hands off and has let big business run wild, dirtying our air and water in the process. We're still very reliant on dirty energy sources like oil and coal, and other energy sources like nuclear have to be much more scrutinized. Carbon emissions have been skyrocketing, and global warming is a very real situation that we've got on our hands that will only become worse if we do nothing about it. A dirty environment is bad not just for the US, but for the rest of the world as well.

We must promote the health of the environment and of our people by changing how things are run. I will strengthen departments like the EPA to hold polluters accountable for their actions. We must invest much more in research for green energy sources like wind and solar, and I'll ban the risky practice of offshore drilling that has caused a great deal of ecological damage over the years. I also will propose a Works Green Administration that will refit millions of homes with wind and solar micro technologies over the span of a couple years. These are the main points of my plan for environmental renewal, and we must address this now before the damage is done and it's too late. Going Green this year will guarantee a green future for you and your kids.

I'd like to thank the moderator and the debate commission for organizing this debate. I also want to thank Vice President Giuliani, Senator Biden, and Governor Johnson for participating and creating a dynamic dialogue tonight. Finally, I'd like to thank anyone who's tuned in tonight to see what we have to say.

There's a lot to be said about the state of our country right now. In many ways, we are divided. We've seen conflicts like Iraq bring out passion on both sides, and President Bush himself has turned out to be a deeply polarizing figure in office. Many are worried about keeping their jobs, paying the bills, going to school, or getting insured. There's been a growing sense of pessimism and disillusionment that I've seen from Americans all around when it comes to politics, and perhaps understandably so. They don't see their leaders as standing up for their interests. Instead, they've been lining their own pockets from the big banks and the wealthy corporations that dominate Washington.

We can change that, though. I'm running to finally say enough is enough and to give the people the voice they've been looking for in the White House for so long. While the two parties may bicker with each other in public, they're more similar than they'd like to admit. A Green president will bring universal healthcare, an immediate end to the War in Iraq, free quality education for all, fair trade, no more sweet deals to big business, and the death of the police state. I'm not a spoiler for anybody, nor am I a wasted vote. I am seeking the support of Democrats, Republicans, Greens, Libertarians, and everyone in between. I will be a president for all of America, not just the very few. Now that you've heard from all of us, it is up to you, the voters, to decide what path you'll take us on for the next four years. Thank you all, and God bless the United States of America.

NHI, when Election Day comes may you also post congressional results if you haven't thought about doing that already? It would be interesting to see the composition of the House and Senate for the next president, and I'm also curious to know if third parties will get any seats because of their increased strength this year like what happened in the 2008 game.

Giuliani Campaign Ad, running in the following states

A Time For Choosing
My fellow Americans, our nation is at a cross roads. We have two options - prosperity and security or distress and danger. We can be safe in our homes, or we can live under the fear of Al Quaeda. We can stand up to terrorists, or we can let them win. We can really fix our broken immigration system, or we can spew talking points. Only Rudy Giuliani is prepared to keep America on the right path - the path laid down by Thomas Jefferson, Abe Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower, and Ronald Reagan. Paid for by the Committee to Elect Rudy Giuliani.

All American
Rudy Giuliani has lived the American dream. He was raised in a middle class family in Brooklyn. His father had trouble holding a job and they went through periods of financial difficulty. Rudy had to work his way up the social ladder, from a simple law clerk to an assistant Attorney General to Mayor of our nation's largest city to Vice President. This is the America Rudy Giuliani wants -  a car in every garage, a roast in every oven, and a diploma on every wall. Paid for by the Chamber of Commerce and the RNC.

Since I'm in a rush, I'll just post my schedule in a really condensed form:

Dennis Kucinich visited the states of Vermont, Washington, California, and Ohio, as well as Washington, D.C. Kucinich held rallies, fundraisers, town halls, and bus tours throughout those states, reaching out to prospective voters and motivating support across the country. Kucinich also engaged in debate prep before attending the final debate. He has been joined by surrogates such as Russ Feingold, Howard Dean, and Al Gore during his stops. Topics covered during stump speeches included Iraq, healthcare, education, social justice, and the environment.
