You have 24 hours to advocate for this, Jbrase.

I find Section 3, clause 2 troubling.  Surely we can agree that there are instances when law enforcement officers must use lethal force?

I like this bill. Section 5 is redundant with the Traffic Photo Enforcement Ban, though.

I was considering adding a section banning the use of drug dogs. Studies not only show they are ineffective, but they often respond to signals given by police to signal a car, even though there is nothing in it. The result being a torn apart car that the police do not put back together and a "Get this crap of my road before I ticket you" from the officer.

What do you think?

My mom was once in court when a drug dog went into her purse and took her sandwich. Dogs are animals and can respond to food stimuli as well. At the least, the police should be culpable for any damage caused by a drug dog false alarm.

I think that would be a good idea.

With four votes in favor and one against, the bill is passed.

On the Imperial Law Enforcement Reform Act: by the powers vested in me as Emperor of this region, I thus sign it into law.

Be it resolved, X Emperor PiT
