I heard that no one realized that something was wrong until the band began to play "The Rains of Castamere."

NYE, you have 24 hours to document to me that the images you used are in the public domain (there is no "fair use" exception when it comes to "poaching" images). If you don't, this thread will be deleted, and I will ask you not to do this again. The owner of this site wants us to not engage in copyright infringement. He made that very clear in the Cave - and it is his call, and his alone. It cannot be debated - just enforced. Thank you.

I really wished my "Hilfly is a crack baby" survived long enough to make it here. Alas, it was deleted too soon Sad.

Remember, this was in a TL about Hillary beating Obama.

Obama still bitter of the Clintons, conspire with GOP U.S. Senators to block Hillary's education reform initiatives and also place a hold on Hillary's choice for U.S. Secretary of the Army for months and months.

He also pulls a Frank Underwood by killing his former pastor by throwing him towards a moving train , without being detected by cameras.

Absolutely horrible, but I think I'm allergic to it. The fumes alone make me nauseous. If someone is brewing tea around me, I'll have to leave the room to avoid throwing up.

How can you stand to stay in Mississippi then?

Over the last couple months especially (though it's existed as a problem for the past year), I've gained something of a reputation as an overly bitter troll of the far-right variety (as well as general sage-shaming). I've cognitively understood that I'm probably not bringing much positive contribution to the revolution, though by virtue of having a rather dull life outside Wall Street (and more and more in Wall Street Tongue) and having been in a chronically neoliberal mood for a while now (though I've felt a bit socialistic lately), I haven't really made an effort to improve myself as a friend.

So I'm sorry to those I've needlessly gone after or tried to get a rise out of Snowstalker, and to the forum in general for being something of a centrist troll. Will I be fine after this? Of course not, and I still have rather normal views (though that doesn't excuse me being a poor man's oakvale about them). But hopefully with some encouragement I can improve myself and reestablish myself as a valued and veteran contributor to the People's Revolution. Smiley

Since when is Bloomberg against caffeine?  He's against sugary sodas.

But, Bloomberg is a financial industry guy so I assume he's a big supporter of caffeine, amphetamines and cocaine.

That was one of the single most disgusting things I have ever read on this forum, and not just because it involved me, but what it meant for kids with birth defects.
The fact that is was moderated without me even reporting it says a lot.

Note-perfect Sam Spade parody:

Whether he's an FF or an HP should be clear to anyone who's been paying attention…..not that I expect that many of you are smart enough to realize that.  Look, it should be obvious that the vote in this thread is going to go one of two ways.  I'm pretty sure I know which way that's going to be, but it depends on two factors that you probably aren't considering.

Are you doing your best to imitate the Oracle at Delphi?  Spit it out, MM.

Be patient.

I'm not trying to be disparaging in saying this, but I really do see her later years having a very tragic E! True Hollywood Story quality to them - probably involving bankruptcy, marital issues, family strife and/or drug/alcohol issues. Notoriety is like a drug that she keeps charging towards headfirst, and people like that rarely have happy endings.

Sometime in the early 2020s, there will be some sort of "Where Are They Now?" segment and we'll find out that Sarah Palin is trying to piece her life back together after her estranged husband Todd assaulted her with a barbeque fork and spent all their reality show money on ATVs and Bass Pro Shops merchandise. Maybe she'll get arrested. Maybe she'll appear on a reality show with D-list celebrities. Maybe she'll do infomercials for reverse mortgages.
