Guy Cecil seems effective. The Democrats have certainly done well in Senate campaigns.

Marlon Marshall might be better as selling Hillary as an inspirational figure, since she's been in the public eye for so long she could be vulnerable to a newcomer (just as she was in the 2008 primary). In recent cycles, presidential elections have been won by people with smaller resumes, so Hillary's qualifications could come with negatives.

Bob Shrum would be a good speechwriter or consultant, just not senior advisor. They say he ran losing campaigns Dick Gephardt (1988), Bob Kerrey (1992), Al Gore (2000), John Kerry (2004).
