Does anybody remember when 2/3rds of nurses were big fat ladies that smoked?  It seems today nurses are much more attractive on average than they were 20 or 30 years ago.

Maybe yeah. But the old nurses are way more folksy and easygoing and better to have around than the younger hot ones who are only "doing their job".

The old ones make at least a joke or two each time they come to the room ...

I'm home again.

The problem is: I have about a 3 inch long, 1 inch broad and 1 inch deep hole in my back that takes about 4-6 weeks to heal and so that skin grows over it ...

Which means I cannot work during this time and I need to see the doc each day now to clean the hole ...

Also, sleeping sucks.

Actually, I don't really have much pain. Which surprised me too (but of course is great).

The only stronger pain I had was when they removed the wound cover today for the first time, cleaned the wound and put on a new cover.

But now it's just itching a bit If I move.

But if I have pain, I will use some Novalgin drops.
