Do you want to face your rivals or the better team?

I think we now have proof that season Giants and postseason Giants are two completely different teams.

When Panik went to bat in the top of the 9th, our odds of winning were 3%. Combined with 9 full innings where the Nationals could have ended it with a single run, that may be the most unlikely victory I have ever seen.

I would kill for a Royals-Nationals world series.

Tbh I think if the Giants face the Cards yet again in the NLCS it'll become something of a rivalry. Yet either series would be extremely interesting.

Dodgers - Cardinals
Nationals - Giants
Angels - Royals
Tigers - Orioles

Only because of a blown call at first base.

and Cardinals are up 2-1 over the big spending Dodgers.  Heart and experience!

Please finish them off sooner rather than later. Dodgers fans are a truly insufferable bunch.

Do we have any Dodgers fans here to make fun of?

I was at the Orioles Tigers ALDS game 2. It was insane. I'd never been to a postseason game before. So, you know, Orioles.

Royals win!!!

I have been a loyal Chiefs/Royals fan my entire life - today was the first time in my life that either has won a playoff game. So overcome with emotions right now! #BeRoyal

I, for one, am glad that there is still one thing that can pull Republicans and Democrats together. Wink

Pretty much everyone I know is getting pretty excited about the Royals.  I'm cautiously optimistic that we can take it all.  If we do, there will be many headaches occurring in the early morning in our near future.

The Rangers got a world class gentlemen here.   Banny has been in the Pirates organization longer than most of you have been alive.   A dediated, loyal, hard working guy.  He'll be missed.

You could root for the good guys in this World Series, but why would you?

I was at the eighteen-inning game in Washington a couple weeks ago. My tickets were standing room only and so I stood for six and a half hours and watched the Giants win. It was the greatest sports experience of my life.

I just want to see someone new win the World Series, specifically a team that hasn't made the playoffs since well before I was born.

I wasn't really talking to anybody here, just in general.

(and really I don't care that much, just kind of mad at the Cardinals for some stupid playing at the wrong time and venting)

I had a fleeting thought to head down to KC for either game 1 or 2, but quickly balked at $800/ticket standing room prices. SF is actually going for cheaper, interestingly enough (whould've thought anything would go for cheaper in SF than KC)

My guess is that Royals fans are willing to pay more considering this is literally a once in a lifetime thing for them.

Prices should drop as the game nears.
