Damn, poor Jon Lester. At least he'll be back with the Sox next year.

I have this love/hate relationship with the Giants. Hate them right now bc I have a soft spot for the Bucs.

Welp, Kershaw got rocked. Looks like LA's not going to be in the World Series this year.

I would kill for a Royals-Nationals world series.

Good luck Royals.

A message to bandwagon Royals fans:shut the funk up.

I just want to see someone new win the World Series, specifically a team that hasn't made the playoffs since well before I was born.

I had a fleeting thought to head down to KC for either game 1 or 2, but quickly balked at $800/ticket standing room prices. SF is actually going for cheaper, interestingly enough (whould've thought anything would go for cheaper in SF than KC)

My guess is that Royals fans are willing to pay more considering this is literally a once in a lifetime thing for them.

Just game 1 jitters IMO. Plus Shields has been bad anyway.

I think it's the saddest thing that Tim Lincecum is just a few months separated from throwing a freakin' no-hitter and he's been reduced to a middle-relief/mop-up role.

dallas braden, dude

Or Philip Humber

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it per se, but it kind of speaks to his ability as a pitcher that he can drop off that quickly.

Very sad to hear about Oscar Taveras. Always unfortunate to hear about a player passing during their career, especially so young. He had a bright future. RIP.

Madison Bumgarner single-handedly crashed destiny last night. Screw that guy.

We should see if there is a correlation between the number of games the Giants lose in the World Series and the proportion of seats the Democrats lose in election years. Tongue

Are you saying that the Giants could be responsible for the Republicans winning Congressional seats?

...wait...

It makes so much sense. Evil helping evil. Yes, you have truly stumbled on something massive here...
