It appears I have a challenger in the election. First of all, I want to welcome Mr. Jojoju to the race, and I am sure that we can lead a clean and respectful campaign. Secondly, I want to clarify that I am not a certain Mrs. Barbara Boxer. Furthermore, I want to reaffirm my message for the Pacific, that is to be a hardworking and loyal servant to the People, in Nyman and everywhere.

Yes, I do have something to say regarding the commotion that has been going in the last days. I call upon the people of the Pacific to keep calm, hear to their voices of reasoning, and not start to engage in potentially threatening behaviour. Our principles are democratic ones, and democracy can only flourish when there is open discussion for everyone. As good meant a peaceful militia may be, it is better not to take up arms and rather solve disputes through talks and mediation.

• A globally coordinated Financial Transaction Tax (FTT) Our increasingly wired and connected world imposes new problems on all of us, in Atlasia and all over the world. To ensure fair conditions for people all around the globe, it is imperative that the world community arrange "game rules" for our world. One such field is the subject of a Financial Transaction Tax (FTT), which is frankly a mess at the moment, with some countries having implented one such tax, while others did not. I propose for the Senate of the Republic of Atlasia to craft and pass a resolution, for our SoEA to coordinate with leaders of all countries a global FFT of the same rate, for similar, fair conditions from Ougadougou to New York City.
• Sunpower for everyone: While in Atlasia we have been pioneers on the field of renewable and enviornment-friendly power creation and industries, there is always a new platform to reach, always a new way to help safe our environment. Such ways need not to be reserved to big projects for governmemt and big companies, more importantly, we need to reach the average Atlasian with them, we need to let everyone profit from green energy and technology. As such, I propose for Atlasians to let them deduct a part of the prize of installing solar and photovoltaic panels on their houses for the purpose of creating energy for their house and making a gap towards their own personal energy independence from their taxes.

On another note, I would like to put a word on the ongoings regarding the UFW in the Pacific Region. While I am completely standing behind any worker's right to strike, I still call upon the leaders of the UWF to respect the official certified result of the election, once said is published. Nevertheless, I understand their general concerns, and would apply myself to help mediate the litigations between the union and the Governor. Furthermore, I want to affirm that my office is always open for any concerns of Pacific citizens they could have in the Senate and on the national level.

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is my honour to give my deepest thanks to you all, for re-electing me to the Senate, to represent our home, the great Pacific Region in Nyman. I have had the luck of having no opposition candidate in this race, and thus have neglected my task of holding an active campaign, I admit that. Let me assure you however, that I will continue to do my best in the Senate, deliver the best job possible for both the Pacific as well as all of Atlasia. I have some ideas of my own, and I am looking forward to work with my colleagues, especially with my new colleagaues Mr Talleyrand from the Northeast and Mr Hagrid from the South, to help every Atlasian in being able to enjoy a fruitful future.
