They're better at polishing diamonds than they are at fixing cars and mowing lawns, according to Robertson and his guest, a real life Jew in a three-piece suit and kippah whose British accent leads me to assume he's often asked to portray Shylocks in performances of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice.

I don't see the problem here.  He's an old man and he wasn't trying to be insulting or anti-Semitic.     And, really, the diamond polishing line is a bit much, but that's a basically factual statement about American jews.  Obviously, it's not true in Israel, but here in America, Jews shy away from manual labor for a variety of reasons.

I don't know how someone can watch that video, even edited as it is by that site, and come away with this. Robertson has this person on to say what he believes the Jews are doing right.   Robertson is more in the prosperity gospel camp than he is in to this valoration of poverty and simplicity you are suggesting.

Obviously not, I was mocking some people. I'm aware there is anti-semitism problem by a fringe on the left (and another fringe on the right). Criticism of Israel policies is legitimate, but some of those people sometimes fall in down-right antisemitism, which is sad. At least, it's a while since I heard "Jews killed Jesus" nonsense.
