Why was he banned?  For hostility?  Was it proved he was a sock? 

Hostility is a strong understatement.  There was also extremely strong circumstantial evidence of socking, but since it was a relatively unique technique used to attempt to go undetected, I'd rather not go into specifics about that.

I think admitting that he was doing something like this is only going to lead to him doing it again, unless it happened by accident.
