Option 1. I can just go downtown and use the skyways anyway, while in exurban Oklahoma City there is essentially nothing (especially according to Walkscore)

Minneapolis is a far nicer city though the latter wouldn't literally kill me.

I'm still very much alive despite doing the former multiple times so...

Option 1, if can stay indoors. Otherwise, option 2.

Exurbs are terrible for walking any time of the year, and I'm no stranger to walking in cold weather, so option one.

I've walked around Minneapolis in December. It wasn't too cold (about twenty degrees) and I was surprised by how pleasant it was. I'd definitely do it again if I had the occasion.

I'm not quite sure what you'd call my area, I assumed exurban was the definition. It's quite a nice place to walk in, in my opinion. However, this is Oklahoma we're talking about, and thus it's probably all desert wasteland or something (I have no idea). However, this is Minneapolis in January... Based on the winter we had in Detroit, I wouldn't want to be outside five minutes the majority of the days. Oklahoma, though I'm not happy about the choices.

Yeah, that's still way too cold for me. Unless that's in Celsius. Tongue

Yeah, that's way too cold.  Oklahoma, definitely.  I might run in 20 degree weather, but I certainly am not going to walk in it.

I mean, clearly OKC might have some nicer temperatures, but unless I can teleport out of OKC immediately after the walk... yea, gotta go with one of our greatest cities.

Oklahoma City.

I generally don't have much against the really cold weather and I also have considerable winter gear and gear against the cold (we once went tobbogan riding on a 14 kilometers-slope at -20°C, which with wind speed and driving at 30 mph was feeling something like -40°F), but I prefer not to freeze to death by walking an hour in MN in January.

Besides, enjoying the spring in OKC is much better anyway.

Ugh, Oklahoma City. After a brutal winter in Ohio, I don't want to see anymore snow for months. I mean, it's not like I would have to live in Oklahoma. At least, I would hope not!
