I have eleven as well. A two way tie at eleven between Adam and Goldwater and a fourway tie at eight between Alfred, JCL, Lumine and Shua.

I am going ahead and transfering the rather odd Snowstalker write-in since I think I have seen that done before in other trackers (notably the last special).

Even without that and Cris' vote (had not been cast yet), JCL's count is missing at least one so I can only guess MAxwell miss assigned one of JCL's votes account for one of the over value.

So we have 65 voters and the election is two thirds of the way over and the last day is Easter Sunday. To match even recent elections, turnout would need to nearly double over the course of the remaining day.

I bet there's 52-55 votes out there.

WE have added about 20 since yesterday. And while I expect more, another 30 in just four or five hours, is a quite a lot.

Does voting for NOTA in any preference mean NOTA is the vote? I think that's what I remember.

My full numbers are weak, but I think Shua narrowly beats JCL for that final seat on the Senate. The rest of the Senate is Adam Griffin, Alfred Jones, Lumine, and Goldwater.

This is the closest he's come to a Senate seat, and credit to the Federalists for turning out well for him. Still, probably cause of vote splitting, Labor candidates beat Federalist candidates (37%-31%).

I lost track toward the end (which is more common than I'd like to admit) and am pretty sure my numbers ended up a bit off, too, but here's what I had (lumping silly ballots with write-in [1]s with their first real preference). I also could have sworn that there was one more vote in the election - I'm wondering if someone deleted their ballot?

O it ended midnight DST?   I feel kinda silly for messaging some people to vote for me after the election already ended.  Tongue

I think only the IDS has elections that go past midnight (but not technically; it closes at midnight CT, which doesn't make much sense to me but w/e).

I know I'm always going on about this, but there was no real reason that JCL should have lost this race - especially when you look at some of the Feds' preferences. Number-wise and organizationally-speaking, it should have been Goldwater, JCL, Lumine, Alfred and myself.

JCL was objectively far more deserving of a Senate seat than a non-entity like Goldwater. What a joke, Federalists. Roll Eyes

Or me! That's the ethical thing to do.

The Federalist betrayal of their most active and engaged candidate is gross. I'm going to have to first preference JCL next time around at this rate.

The details of this count are indeed difficult to work out, but I think it's safe to say that we can assume the Senate elections' victors will be Goldwater, Shua, Adam Griffin, Alfred Jones and Lumine.

I know I just voted for who I thought most closely reflected my philosophy 1-5.

Sorting out the relatively sparse differences between Shua and JCL, for instance, would require more nitpicking than what I normally like to engage in in the game - JCL is just a more extreme version. They'll take different roads, but end up in the same place about 9/10 times.

Your vote exhausted at the very end because it had been transferred to each of the four non-write-in candidates that you preferenced - and then had nowhere else to go!

Sorting out the relatively sparse differences between Shua and JCL, for instance, would require more nitpicking than what I normally like to engage in in the game - JCL is just a more extreme version. They'll take different roads, but end up in the same place about 9/10 times.

Naturally, that's what I'm here to do. Right now I'm trying to figure out the most intuitive way in which to show the count's progression.

The very end of the count involves transferring a very small surplus that accrued to Lumine. There are actually four voters who had their votes transferred five times in the very end: from Adam Griffin's surplus to Alfred's surplus to A Person, transferred upon his elimination to Lumine's surplus and finally distributed to either JCL or Shua - for a final transfer value of 0.000643!
