Which kitchen would you prefer?

The sink in option 2 is in a horrible location, jammed as it is cheek to jowl with the fridge, sans a window to look out to max out the claustrophobic, counter deficient ambiance of it all. And someone didn't understand the "work triangle" concept. And there is no dishwasher! Meanwhile, the cabinets are uglier than my exposed bald head. Epic fail as to that dysfunctional kitchen. For the first time in my life I am into designing kitchens. It was quite the learning curve.
